Kiawah Island Golf Resort is graciously allowing us to bird in the fields behind Freshfields Village. David Gardner will be joining us. This event will have 1 - 2 miles of walking over uneven terrain. The environment includes the "parking" field, produce fields and borders of lake behind Andell Inn. The varied environment could provide sitings of species not normally seen on Seabrook Island. Eastern Meadowlark and Loggerhead Shrike are among those species on the "wish list".
Bring sun block, bug spray, a hat, water and binoculars.
