Faculty, staff or graduate students who are developing technologies in the broadly defined field of cybersecurity are invited to apply to participate in the Maryland New Venture Fellowship. As a "Technologist", you will be matched with a "Fellow" and a "Mentor" during the match making event on November - December 2021.

Each month, teams will meet at least twice, using a systematic approach, including weekly agendas, assignments, milestones, and deadlines. Mentors will use their extensive networks to help move the projects forward towards success. Fellows will get assignments from the Mentors and the Technologists to complete. The teams will participate in regularly scheduled events and have required reading. The teams will prepare for investor pitches and have the opportunity to present at the RSA event in February.

The Fellowship will introduce teams to participating corporate partners and government agencies. Each of the teams will have an opportunity to meet with the participating corporate partners, and they will vet the technologies, the market potential, potential for investment, and how the technology might fit with their current systems.
