Come join the State Championship Team at the Penn Speech and Debate Summer Camp!
Speech and Debate encourages critical thinking as students try to make sense of the world and the current issues at stake. This program provides its participants with tools to dissect information, express opinions and form sound conclusions. Rather than relying on how or what others tell them to think, these students can think for themselves. Speech and Debate allows students to develop the skills to be influential members of society and advocate for both sides of any given topic. They focus on becoming strong communicators, descriptive writers, philosophers, politicians, researchers, and have the confidence to become tomorrow’s leaders.Date: Mon.-Fri. 1:30p.m. -3:30 p.m.
