Open Call for Communities
The Biennale of Western Balkans invites communities, associations and collectives in the area of the Western Balkans to take part in the central exhibition entitled “Patterns”. The aim of the central exhibition “Patterns” is to discover new ways of celebrating art and culture in public space, through the exploration of existing and emergent patterns; patterns in forms, tools and techniques, while giving voice to the commons and open source initiatives. During the exhibition three large-scale installations will be available for events, workshops and presentations related to the vision of the BoWB. From architecture, crafts and ecology, to open source practices, peer to peer learning, new media practices and the commons, we invite communities, associations and collectives to send their proposals for using one of the pavilions between October 11th-14th.
