This is a 6-week support circle for adult BIPOC women, femmes, and gender expansive folks who are currently parenting or engaged in caregiving for a child or children facilitated by Mayowa Obasaju, PhD of Connected Roots Counseling and Consulting. From a place of radical love, participants will discuss how to support one another in utilizing liberatory and anti-oppressive child raising strategies, identifying day to day practices of joy and celebration, and nurturing their children and their own true authentic selves, ability to self-advocate, and recognize/intervene in the face of injustice.

This group is for NY residents age 18 and over. Groups are offered virtually on a HIPPA compliant video platform. The cost is $75 per group session for a total of $425.

This group will meet for 6 weeks from the week of April 17th to May 22nd for 75 minutes per session. Once you are accepted into the group, participants are agreeing to attend each session for the full duration of the 6-week cycle. Participants are strongly encouraged to have access to a private space for every session to protect privacy and confidentiality.
