VA Mennonite Relief Sale Volleyball Tournament 2026 (Smash)

Thanks for your interest in the 2nd Annual VA Mennonite Relief Sale Volleyball Tournament (Smash) event, in partnership with the VA Mennonite Relief Sale to raise funds for the work of MCC! The goal of this event is to support the work of MCC while having a great time! This event will take place on Saturday, September 12th, 2026 starting @ 9am at the Wilbur Pence Middle School Track. This is an outdoor tournament (weather pending, gym space has been secured as well)! Some information that might be helpful as you create teams is listed below:

1. The deadline for submitting teams (and thus getting t-shirts) is August 22, 2026.

2. This year we will be offering 3 different divisions; Advanced, Intermediate, and Recreational. There are no gender requirements and divisions may be combined based on interest/registration numbers.

3. Each division will play pool style to ensure at least 3 games per team (if a sufficient number of teams register) . Sets will be played to 21, best out of 3. Winners will be awarded medals!

4. There is a recommended $250/team donation, but please feel free to donate more or get sponsored! Remember, ALL proceeds go towards missions!

5. Team members must be at least 13 years old, with those under 18 requiring parental consent to participate in the tournament. If a team has all members under 18, please have an adult contact for information purposes.

6. An email with game times and other information will be sent out the week before the tournament to the email provided on this form.
