2016 BC Seed Mentorship Application Form - MENTOR
Thank you for your interest in the Seed Mentorship Program and for taking the time to complete this application.
As a mentor you play an important role in growing BC's sustainable seed system by sharing your knowledge with less experienced seed growers and offering them guidance through the 2016 season. From planning and growing to harvesting and packing, your breadth of experience will empower new seed growers and help them rapidly develop their own seed-growing and seed saving skills.
Selected mentors will be expected to contribute a minimum of 25 hours of mentorship time and will be financially compensated. Correspondence with Mentees can be by phone, email, or in person on the farm when possible. The program runs from March through November 2016 though you may extend this mentorship with your Mentee if you wish.
We appreciate you sharing your experience and input on the application below. Your concise elaboration on questions will better help us assess your application and match you with a suitable Mentee.
This program is a managed by Farm Folk City Folk with funding from USC Canada’s Bauta Family Initiative on Seed Security in Canada.
