Some information about The Betty Cary Arboretum

Named for Betty Cary, a lover of trees and influential educator who spent nearly 70 years at Germantown Friends School, the Arboretum is located in the Historic Germantown section of Philadelphia and sits on the 12-acre main campus of Germantown Friends School and the 12-acre athletic field complex.  With 230 unique trees and shrubs on the 24 acres, the arboretum has received Level 1 accreditation by ArbNet. Note that our tour will focus on the Coulter Street campus.
