Join Clark College Volunteer and Service Learning Program on an Alternative Spring Break in Seattle, WA, April 1st through April 5th with Boys and Girls Club of King County.

Volunteer Work Days Include:

Wednesday, April 2nd: Sacajawea Club
Thursday, April 3rd: View Ridge Club
Friday, April 4th: Wallingford Club

The Boys and Girls Club of King County is a 501 non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

Volunteer tasks at the various locations may include cleaning kitchen and back room storage, outside weeding and other landscaping jobs, organizing the club inside, and youth interaction on Friday at Drop-In Club.

We will be leaving Clark College Main Campus on Tuesday, April 1st in the afternoon and returning back Saturday morning. We will be staying at the AAE Hostel Seattle and be volunteering between the hours of 9am to 3pm, except Friday which will be between 2pm to 7pm.

*There will be a mandatory, per-service orientation Friday, March 21 from 12-1pm. Lunch will be provided. Space is limited, so register early. Those who are under 18 must have a signed parental waiver.
