2026 Fall Sandhills Sixes Founding Family Registration Form

A Community-Based, Small-Sided Lacrosse Experience for 1st–8th Graders

Sandhills Sixes planning is underway, we'd love your help shaping it. We are building a local, small-sided lacrosse league designed to increase accessible playing opportunities for youth athletes in the Sandhills region and help build a pipeline for our high school programs. It will exist to strengthen the overall lacrosse ecosystem by providing an accessible layer of development and team play. Half of each session will be practice followed directly by a game on a designated team.

• One-day-per-week commitment
• Structured train-and-play format
• Players placed on designated teams
• Weekly matchups against different opponents after training session
• Small-sided Sixes-style games for maximum engagement
• Curriculum-driven coaching focused on skill development and game IQ
• Positive coaching environment that builds confidence, leadership, and love for the game

Every athlete will benefit from age-appropriate skill development, consistent coaching language, game IQ instruction, and research-based mindset lessons. Our coaches will be trained to create an environment where athletes grow as players, teammates, and people - curriculum provided.

Dates: 6 Sundays — August 23 through September 27 (October 4 Makeup Day)
Format:  Sixes/Small-sided 6v6 games, 5 field players + 1 GK (may adjust numbers on the field based on registrants) 
Location: Morganton Sports Complex (100 Fire Lane, Southern Pines, NC)

Divisions: *Both Boys and Girls Divisions may be offered in the following grades:
• 1st–2nd Grade (3v3)
• 3rd–5th Grade 
• 6th–8th Grade

*Divisions may be adjusted based on participation numbers.
