  2. Open Session (co-hosted by PSF and CCI)
Interdisciplinary and unconventional perspectives are especially encouraged.

Format
  • Talk length: 3–10 minutes

  • Style: Clear, concise, and idea-driven

  • Slides are optional.

Selection criteria

Proposals will be selected based on:

  • Originality and clarity of the idea

  • Relevance to themes

  • Potential to spark discussion and debate

  • Fit with the Lightning Talk format

Why participate

Lightning Talks are an opportunity to:

  • Test ideas in front of an engaged audience

  • Connect with researchers and practitioners working on similar problems

  • Contribute to an ongoing conversation about how societies, cities, and institutions can be built differently

Selected speakers will be notified ahead of the festival and provided with session details.
