Baker McKenzie National Women's Moot 2017
We are extending individual applications for the Baker McKenzie National Women's Moot which will be held on 25-28th September 2017 at the University of Sydney. This tournament is held in conjunction with SULS and sponsored by Baker Mckenzie.

It is the only national moot requiring all competitors to be female and was established to offer women greater equity at the bar and opportunities to network and develop their advocacy skills.

Participants will be required to research the law in relation to a problem scenario and form a compelling legal argument.

Teams must consist of three (3) female members. The event will involve 4 preliminary rounds where each team will moot the Respondent side twice and the Appellant side twice. Following these rounds will be 2 semi-final rounds for the top 4 teams and the grand final.

Applicants can be from any year of law however strong mooting experience will be essential for selection.
