POSTPONED to 2020- FREE Child Protection Training Day for Early Childhood Educators
The Community Education Team from Te Puaruruhau are offering this FREE training day for professionals working within the Early Childhood Sector. This day will provide an opportunity to hear specialists from the multi agency discuss the effects of child abuse, their role in insuring we are doing everything we can to recognise and respond and, strive for positive outcomes. Participants will be reminded of some possible signs of child abuse and be guided how to recognise, respond and refer. We will also be looking at the effect family harm has on a child's ability to play, learn and thrive.
