Jam Band Background and interest form
Jam band is a group in which participants' music choices and interests determine which songs/pieces and instruments they want to play. There is a focus on additional music genres, playing by ear, and developing skills on a variety of instruments, most especially--but not exclusively--the instruments in the rhythm section: Drumset and auxiliary percussion, keyboard, electric and acoustic fretted instruments (guitars and ukulele), vocals, technology, and any other instrument. Just like in jazz, all instruments AND SKILL LEVELS are welcome in jam band.
