As Helm of the above boat,

I undertake to enter the Regatta in the spirit of good sportsmanship and yachtsmanship.

I recognise that this Regatta is a National Championships.

I declare that my skill level as helm is at a suitable level for the Regatta.

I recognise that the Notice of Race includes my undertaking to abide by Rule 3 of the Racing Rules of Sailing which is that the decision to Race is my decision alone. In particular I undertake to take note of weather conditions and my skill and experience level, in this regard.

I undertake, in the event of accident or injury during the Regatta, not to hold the Organising Committee or the Kenya Laser Association liable for any loss or damage sustained to me or my boat during the event.

I will be responsible for repairing any damage that my actions may cause to other competitors, their boats and equipment or the Race Committee’s boats or equipment and the rescue boats, and that I have considered taking out personal insurance for this eventuality.

I give the organisers permission to hold my personal data provided above, for the purposes of organising this and other similar events.

I undertake to pay the Entry Fee for my boat of 9,000/- (4,500 for Cadets under 18).
