Community Workshop: Singing Stories: The Ingredients of an Oratorio about Dreamers

Pulitzer Prize winning librettist, Nilo Cruz and [TBD] lead a hands-on workshop using first-hand narratives to create a new musical work in music, words, and form, mirroring mirroring the process that went into the creation of the Dreamers oratorio written by Cruz and composer Jimmy Lopez, which will receive its world premiere by the Philharmonia Orchestra of London at Zellerbach Hall on Mar 17, presented by Cal Performances.
The workshop is free, reservations are required. Participants will receive tickets to the performance.
