The Mayor's Office of Economic Development and the Mayor's Department of Youth Employment and Engagement want to hear how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected your organization's plan for employing youth this summer.
We invite both private sector and nonprofit partners to take this short survey on how the pandemic is impacting your organization's capacity to support youth summer job opportunities. The estimated time to complete this survey is 10-15 minutes.
The survey is intended to capture information about how many youth you might support this summer, the types of jobs you think might be available, the feasibility of remote or virtual work for youth, and your staffing capacity to supervise youth. The goal of the survey is to work collectively to identify alternative strategies and plan for multiple ways to engage and employ Boston's youth this summer.
We seek ONLY ONE completed answer per company/organization even if you work with multiple intermediary organizations (ABCD, PIC, YEE, YOU, MLK). If there is another individual better suited to respond, please forward this survey to them.
All individual answers will be kept confidential. Response data will be shared in the aggregate. The survey will close on Tuesday, April 21 at 5:00PM.
Thank you in advance for your participation in this survey. Reach out to Midori Morikawa at
