1) This form is for Pre-requisite, Co-requisite, Department, Honors, Major, and Advising section permits.
2) Closed course permits are no longer allowed! For advising sections please choose Advising Permit.
3) Permission to take courses at another college can be emailed to Ms. Genti Price (
price@njit.edu) who will address them or forward them to the correct person.
4) Use your official NJIT email address for all permit requests.
5) You can email a request for follow-up to
chempermits@njit.edu.
6) You may be contacted about sending proof of pre-requisites. Rutgers students must either send their advisor form or transcripts with letter (not T) grades.
7) Permits are given by CRN number, which represents a specific section. You must submit a new permit request if you want to change your section.
8) Please be careful filling out the form - to avoid processing delay, double-check the form before hitting the Submit button. Make sure your CRN and NJIT ID are correct!
