Gustie Cup 2025 - Alumni Pitch Coach Registration Form
Thank you for your interest in supporting the Gustie Entrepreneur Cup! This is an opportunity for current Gustavus students to pitch business ideas in two categories (sustainable and scalable), and compete for seed money prizes. The competition this year is on Saturday, April 12. More information about the competition can be found on the Gustie Cup webpage.

About Alumni Coaching:  We are looking for coaches who will listen to student pitch ideas and ask questions where there may be gaps,  share constructive feedback on the pitch flow and content, and give students on advice to make their pitch the best it can be. This will help them make adjustments and feel more confident presenting their ideas to the panel of judges at the competition. Each 1.5 hour session (see options below) will accommodate 3 student pitches at 30 minutes each. The Gustie Cup Lead, Tara Cadenhead, will kick off each Zoom call and will facilitate the session.

High-level timeline and process:
  • Students have been working on their business plans in the Entrep II class and Gustie Cup Start-up Labs
  • All students who have expressed interest and have completed a draft application were paired with mentor from their industry to provide insight on their plan
  • Final applications are due on March 18
  • By March 21, the Gustie Cup team will select between 8-12 business ideas to move on to the Gustie Cup competition on April 12
  • Between March 26-28, students who move on to the competition will have the opportunity to meet with a panel of 3-5 Pitch Coaches (you!) for additional feedback and insight. They will have a prep session with Tara Cadenhead to form their pitch and practice with peers.
  • April 12 - Gustie Cup competition at 9:30 am in Beck Hall at Gustavus  - Please join us!
  • May 9 - All students who compete on April 12 will have the opportunity to attend the EO (Entrepreneurs Organization - Minnesota chapter) Conference in the Twin Cities to hear from keynote speakers (Daymon John, Shark Tank), participate in networking and roundtables, and leverage resources for growing their business.
