Career Champion Challenge
Are you ready to take on the Challenge? Do you want to win prizes? Save the date to attend the UMC Career and Internship Fair September 15th. Online and On campus students are welcome!

This is a once-a-year event to learn about the industry, build your professional relationships and gain exclusive access to internship and job opportunities! Employers are excited to talk to YOU! Take advantage of the different levels of employer engagement options. From visiting with employers at the fair, to value added programs such as employer panels, interviewing and a chance to gain VIP access to the Champions Luncheon.

Not only is career and major exploration common- it’s smart! Making an informed decision about your future by gathering information and evaluating options is one of the best time investments you can make as a student!

Ready to become a Career Champion? We have a program made just for you! This VIP program for students who have completed our Career Challenge would allow a deeper level of connection between you and prospective employers and industry professionals.

Attendance at the fair is mandatory to complete the challenge. Prizes will be awarded at the Champions Luncheon.

Our program will have you explore many aspects of who you are and identify the strategies that will bring you the life that you want!

What will it take to Win? There are two avenues to become a Career Champion

1- Complete an Independent Plan for Career and Personal Exploration: Your best bet for completing the Career Challenge quickly. Asynchronous completion of the Career Challenge in Canvas will have you explore many aspects of who you are and identify the strategies that will bring you the life that you want!

2-Complete the Career Explorer Series: Would you rather have someone to guide you through the exploration? The Career Explorer Series provides you with a structured and personalized setting to explore your interests and careers with a Career Consultant. Limited opportunities available.
