Sumners Institute: Our Founding Documents - Monday, Wednesday, Friday
NOTE:  We will be utilizing Canvas as our learning management system to help guide your learning through the institute.  Participants will work at their own pace on portions of the institute, learn from consultants in live sessions, and demonstrate their learning through a variety of activities. 

Participants registering for the Institute on the Founding Documents should plan on being available for live sessions from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (Central Standard Time) on
  • Monday, July 8, 2024
  • Wednesday, July 10, 2024
  • Friday, July 12, 2024

These three days will focus on:
  • The Declaration of Independence
  • English and Early American influences on the development of the U.S. Constitution
  • The Constitutional Convention 
  • Federalist and Anti-Federalist debate
  • A walk through the seven articles of the Constitution.
