FoodWIse is a federally funded wellness program that offers free nutrition education and project support for food and nutrition activities. Schools where at least 50% of students receive free and reduced lunch are eligible for programming. Lessons are available in person or virtual, in English and Spanish with additional interpretation and translation services.
Lesson topics include fruits, vegetables, dairy, protein, physical activity, and MyPlate. Nutrition education series contain 5 to 8 classes. A staff person from your school must be in the classroom at all times during FoodWIse lessons. Classroom behavior management is the responsibility of school staff. Once this form is submitted, a FoodWIse educator will be assigned your classroom. They will reach out to you as soon as they are able to schedule lessons. Please submit one form per classroom.
