Aim:
To study about introduction to personal computer.
Personal computer:
In its more general usage, a pc(personal computer) is a computer designed for use
by one person at a time prior to the pc, computer were designed for companies who
attached terminals for companies who attached terminals for multiple users to a single
large computer whose resources were shared among all users. Beginning in the late 1980s,
technology advances made it feasible to build a small computer that an individual could
own and use.
The term “PC” is also commonly used to describe an “IBM”- compatible personal
computer in contrast to an apple Macintosh computer. The distinction is both technical
and cultural. The “IBM”- compatible” pc is one with an intel microprocessor architecture
and an operating system such as dos or windows that is with to use the Intel
microprocessor.
The basic components of pc are:
System unit
Monitor
Key board
Floppy disk drive
Hard disk drive
Compact-disk drive (CD-ROM drive)
The optional components are:
Mouse
Printer
Scanner
The system unit:
The system unit controls and executes all the operations. It ensures that the correct
information is displayed on the monitor when we press a key on the keyboard.

Go layer box we get background layer , you will see a lock on the right side corner
then double click on that lock then you create the background layer box is layer
zero.

Press ctrl+j then press ctrl+j (it is used to create a duplicate layer)

Then you will get 3 layers

Select center layer

Go tool box that box will display on the left side go color box then you give
background color is white then foreground color is black

Press ctrl+backspace (it is used to apply background color)

Select 1st layer on the layer box
↓
Go tool box then select move tool
↓
Go filter menu on the menu bar

Select extract
↓
The extract dialoge box will be apply on the window screen then you select an
edgehighlighter tool then you select face and hair then select fill tool click center on
the face then give ok

Go layer box track 3rd layer to 1st layer

Go tool box select move tool
↓
Select pen tool (or) lasso tool ( these tools are used to select the picture) then you
select the picture normally by pen tool (or) lasso tool

Press ctrl+enter

Go tool box click zoom tool then increase the picture size then torget the hair and
face then click history brush tool increase the brush size then track only downwards
on the hair (it is used to erase extra color on the hair)

Select first layer

Press ctrl+e (it is used to merge lst layer & 2nd layer)

Go tool box click hand symbol then move the picture you will see the pictures are
merged

Press ctrl+a
↓
Press ctrl+c

Go file menu then open another picture (it is used to give background)

Press ctrl+v
↓
Take zoom tool then the picture then give fit on screen

Then you will get perfect picture

Go image menu then select adjustment then click gradient map, then we get
gradient dialoge box, select black & white color, give ok

Go layer box, select 1st layer

Go tool box, select erase tool then erase extra dress color on the picture

Go layer box we get background layer , you will see a lock on the right side corner
then double click on that lock then you create the background layer box is layer

Press ctrl+j (it is used to crete a duplicate layer)

Press ctrl+shift+u (it is used to create the picture is desaturate (or) black&white

Press ctrl+I (it is used to invert the picture)

Go layer box, you will see layer mode on the top of the layer box) already we have
normal mode, to change that mode is color dodge (then you will see the picture is to
change complete white)

Go menu bar select filter menu, click blur, select gaussion blur then we
havegaussion blur dialogue box then to change radius is 1.0, give ok

Go layer box select adjustmentlayer (or) create a new fill layer that layer button on
the bottom of the layer box then click levels, you will get level dialouge box,
increasing the output level then give ok

Go foreground color, take bucket tool and fill white color

Click Texturizer give scaling is 100, relief is 8, texture is canvas then click ok
