Commercial Burglaries:

Landscaping brick
through front
window.
Officers were dispatched to business, B&E Alarm with
glass breakage. Upon arrival, Officer observed that
the front glass window had been shattered and there
was a landscaping type brick lying on the ground.
Officer also observed that the metal gate that runs the
length of the front windows had been pushed back. It
did not appear that entry was gained into the store.
A witness who was on his bicycle stated he observed a
B/M with a hooded sweatshirt over his head exit a
bright yellow vehicle and run towards the business.
Witness heard a loud noise and then observed suspect
pulling on the gate in front of business. The suspect
observed witness and ran back to the bright yellow
vehicle and fled scene at a high rate of speed.
It was later confirmed that nothing was missing from
the business.

East side door was
kicked in.
Victim stated that sometime between 09/11/2013
1:00pm- 09/12/2013 10:00am unknown suspects
broke into his house by kicking the east side door.
Once inside they stole several appliances. The suspects
also stole copper wire from the furnace, broke an
interior window and turned on a water faucet and
flooded the house. No suspect information available.
The home is a rental property and is currently vacant.

*(Apartments- Cat Burglar)*
Entry was through
an unlocked
balcony door wall.
Victim advised that he and his 3 roommates have been
in the apartment for only 1 week. Victim stated that
everyone sleeps on the top level of the apartment.
Victim stated that sometime between 1:30am and
8:30am unknown suspect(s) entered the residence
through an unlocked balcony door wall on the west
side. Two Laptops and credit cards were taken.
One of the credit cards was used at a Gas Station in
Southfield.

22000 Leewright Ave Window was
removed from the
frame on east side
of residence.
Victim stated she left the residence intact at
approximately 9:00am. Upon returning at
approximately 11:45am she entered the home and
discovered it ransacked. Several items are missing
from the residence.
Officers spoke to a neighbor that remembers seeing a
Silver SUV Type Vehicle in the driveway around
10:00- 10:30am, unknown make or model.
