21000 Lasher Rd

(Apartments)

Door was kicked

in.

Victim stated he was visiting his grandfather at

location when suspect (mother) came over to take

5 month old child they have in common.

Victim wouldn’t let mother into grandfather’s

apartment. Victim had the door locked with the chain

on. Suspect (mother) proceeded to kick the door in

causing damage to the door frame.

Once suspect was inside the apartment, victim freely

handed over child to suspect and he left with the child.

Officers observed that the door frame was split, and

half of the jamb was lying on the floor inside the

apartment. Suspect has been identified and incident is

under investigation.

29000 Spring Hill Dr. No forced entry

was observed.

Possibly a key was

used.

Officer was dispatched to residence to meet with R/P

who is a HUD inspector.

R/P states someone entered the home and removed

unknown amount of copper pipe from the basement

ceiling and walls. No force was used to gain access to

the home and the doors were locked.

R/P states last time someone checked the home was

(Apartments)

Bedroom window

was found open.

Victim went to the above location to check her

apartment. When she tried to get in the apartment it

appeared that someone was holding door/lock and

she was unable to get in. Victim could hear someone

in the apartment.

When victim was finally able to get in apartment, she

discovered that it had been ransacked and a TV had

been taken.

Victim had allowed her boyfriend’s brother to stay in

apartment since 2/28/2015. Victim was trying to help

brother get back on his feet again because he had a

prescription drug addiction.

Southfield Police Detective contacted victim’s

boyfriend and discovered that he had talked to his

brother (suspect) since the incident and confirmed

that his brother is responsible for the ransacking of

apartment and theft of the TV.

Suspect has been identified and incident is under

investigation.

Officer’s observed vehicle with no visible license

plate attached.

Officer’s conducted investigative stop on vehicle.

Officer’s investigation revealed that the vehicle

was reported and confirmed stolen out of

another jurisdiction.

Officers also discovered that the driver of the

vehicle had multiple License Suspensions.

The driver was arrested for R&C Stolen Vehicle

and DWLS.
