Cosplay Karaoke Cup Mechanics
In this competition, only a limited number of slots will be open with each slot being filled by winners of several competitions. For this year’s Cosplay Karaoke Cup, slots will be filled up from the following events:
- Fanfes Online 2021
- Cosplay Carnival 2022:
- Cosplay Karaoke: Anime Edition - Champion
- Cosplay Karaoke: Mainstream Edition - Champion
- Cosplay Karaoke Encore: Day 1 & 2 Champions
- Cosplay Karaoke Encore: Day 1 & 2 Runner-ups
If a Cosplayer already has a slot and secures another one, the next-highest award will be given the slot instead. For instance, if Cosplayer A already won as the Day 1 Champion for the Anisong it 2019, and they won again in ACX 2022 as the Cosplay Karaoke Encore's Day 2 Runner-Up, they will be competing as the Day 1 Champion from Anisong it 2019 instead. The next highest scorer for the Runner-Up position of Cosplay Karaoke Encore Day 2 will be given the slot to compete in the Karaoke Cup.
