2020 Legislative Bill Summaries

Water Quality Bills Update:

Several water quality related bills have been filed and we will list those bills as they advance.

Fracking Bills Update:

Similar Senate and House Fracking Ban bill has been filed and it’s anticipated that variations will follow.

while it has been assigned committees of reference, it has not yet been scheduled

to be heard in committee.

Florida Forever Bills Update:  

Several Florida Forever land acquisition related bills have been filed but not all propose to adequately fund the

program or they propose to use the funds for infrastructure projects.  SCCF supports full funding for the program with

out commitments to spend funds in certain areas or for infrastructure.
