1: Vaush spent about a year sexually harrassing a woman who went by the alias ‘Poppy’. She made it clear multiple times that she was not interested in anything sexual with him but he continued.
After Poppy largely cut off contact with him because of this, he openly fantasised about sex with her in chat channels which she was in. This went on for 6+ months.
A while later, Vaush was becoming a relatively popular streamer. So Poppy, seeing that her harasser was getting away with it, went public with what he’d done to her. The reaction of Vaush and his community was to deny it, to discredit/insult her, and to harass her into oblivion, until she deleted her accounts and left the internet.
This is Vaush’s friend and sysadmin (still today, and she also runs the websites of many other streamers like Xanderhal) Whitenervosa suggesting that Vaush change his name in the discord chat logs of his harassment to his old handle so that no one realises it was Vaush who did it.

She has a post on Destiny’s subreddit about it which sheds even more light and makes Vaush and his circle of friends look somehow even worse. It goes into gritty detail about how she was harassed by Vaush for a long time and then harassed by his friends & fans at his urging to ‘silence her’.

Vaush ‘apologized’ publicly for this only when there was backlash that was affecting his audience, after spending months and months trying to harass her into silence and paint himself as an innocent victim. Even in that ‘apology’ he nonetheless refused to admit anything close to the true extent of what he’d done and just framed himself as a quirky guy who made some mistakes. There is also another confirmed victim of his named Pastel but little evidence of his interactions with her has surfaced.
Vaush admitted to various questionable practices with his pets, while also on the same day arguing that beastiality should not be illegal and was morally okay.
Vaush admitted to having masturbated to drawn child pornography aka ‘loli’, even saying that he thinks ‘everyone’s done it’, making the kind of company that he keeps very questionable, as ‘everyone’ has definitely not done it. By his own standards, which he outlined later after rebranding himself as anti-child porn and anti-pedophilia, this means that he is likely attracted to real children.
Vaush has a long history of arguing that child pornography should be legal & arguing against the age of consent. He only stopped doing this once it became inconvenient for his brand. There are literally dozens of instances of him doing this, so many that they don’t even fit into one post.
Combined with his long history of arguing against the age of consent, the implications are obvious.
After receiving backlash for his obsession with children, Vaush hilariously did a complete 180 on his stance. He stopped making pro-child porn arguments and started saying that the age of consent should be 21. A clear over-correction on his part, trying to save his brand after realizing that being too open with his real opinions was threatening its future. He also denounces other creators with ‘questionable’ views on these things, like youtuber ‘MrGirl’, as if everyone’s forgotten that he was constantly saying the same just 2 years ago.
Vaush called trans people who dislike him ‘subhuman’ and said that he wants them to kill themselves. Verbatim quote: “These people are subhuman and I want them to kill themselves.”

This is just a small sample of the things that Vaush has done - not even getting into the political side, like his open support for US imperialism. If I, or anyone else who his fans dislike did anything even close to these things, they would be up in arms about it. But because it’s the streamer they like, they defend him to the death. There is no excuse for any of it and it can’t be handwaved away with a simple ingenuine ‘apology’.
Even aside from his general idiocy and worthlessness, he is clearly just reprehensible as a human being. This is also JUST WHAT WE KNOW OF. Imagine what else there is that simply hasn’t leaked. Given his harassment of his previous victim, it is very possible that other victims have been scared into silence as a result, or simply don’t know that the man who victimised them is now a popular internet streamer.
