Interactive Workshop - “I am Spiritual but not Religious”
Pathshala 2020 Registration
One of the founding principles of Jain Study Center of NC is to serve our young kids to instill spiritual development, self-awareness and promote Jain identity. With this future in mind, we have established a twice-a-month Pathshala. Our volunteer teachers pay special attention to the needs of young and older groups and have structured curriculum as such.
Mandatory Pathshala registration for 2020 ends on Sunday December 15, 2019
JSCNC rents an after-school facility off Morrisville Pkwy., which charges a rental fee for holding these Pathshalas. Based on this and a few other factors, the Pathshala fees for 2020 is $75 in total per child - this is the same as last year. Deadline for Pathshala dues is also Sunday December 15, 2019
How to register my child?
There are Two ways to register this year:
One way - Use the form below for registering your child(ren). Please use one form per child. Child's age must be at least 4 yrs.
Second way - You can register in person with volunteers present at next 3 Pathshalas on Nov 17 and Dec 15
How to pay?

December 15 Meeting - General Body Meeting
Per the constitution, JSCNC should hold a General Body Meeting every year. This year, we are planning to consider the JSCNC Monthly Meeting day (Dec. 15th) to be that day. If you have any questions, concerns or constructive criticisms, please send an email to Ritesh Salot (firstname.lastname@example.org) so we can try to address it going forward.
Thank you for all your support in 2019 year. We are always humbled by all your support and contributions and hope to continue the same for next year.
The current committee will continue their second year in 2020 hence we will not be having any elections this year.

We would like to correct an omission from the last newsletter - JSCNC would like to thank an anonymous donor for the sponsorship of the “goodie plate” (mathia, kela vada & sweet) at the Diwali October meeting. The sponsorship is greatly appreciated.
Also, a reminder that we have taken on an initiative around meeting lunches going forward - For leftovers we have two options:
Option 1: The person responsible for a particular dish takes leftovers back home
Option 2: We will collect the leftovers and deliver it to NCSU students
Food served during monthly meetings and special events has played a vital role in building our community over the years. It has enabled us to spend quality time to learn Jainism and socialize with other fellow Jains without having to worry about our usual lunch/dinner planning that day. This wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and monetary donations from several individuals. We are extremely grateful for their efforts and thank them for their continued contributions.
Please contact our food coordinator, Mr. Rajan Chheda @ (978) 408-7284 for any questions / details.
