Notes
- Default image pulling strategy:
- Sergii sharing some insights
- Use-case: starting workspaces
- Workspace startup time (20-->26s on che.openshift.io) vs like 1mn on test instance.
- Someone remembers why we’re using always and not using “not present”
- Che.openshift.io is using IfNotPresent vs Always in test instance
- Always should not pull even
- Need to investigate and checking the results
- Pod selector to not select the node where che-server is running for running the workspace pods.
- Administrator should be able to specify node affinity on workspaces
- System wide or allow the user to specify this option ?
- Starts with system wide option
- Automatic issue closing in GitHub:
- Eric: Could we review the lifecycle/stale issues as part of the triage step
- There is for now a row of 7 days to add lifecycle/frozen to prevent the close
- Ilya: would not mix this with the issue triaging job.
- TL could review their assigned bugs and close/cleanup it before the 180 days period
- Bugs in one version could be in another version but before not in a new version
- Problem is more on the bugs than feature requests
- Mario: not seen a user complaining about the auto-closing issue
- Co-editing GSoC weekly update:
- Testing locally it’s working fine, using theia it’s ok
- When running inside container, it’s not working: connection is not established, portal is KO
