Create New Application (Nomination)
When logged in, at the top right of your navigation bar you will see an “Awards” tab.
Clicking the Awards tab will take you to your NIAAA Awards Dashboard.
The NIAAA Awards Dashboard will show you all available actions to you involving NIAAA Awards.
In the “Student Scholarship” row, click “Create Nomination”. You will be directed to a page to draft the nomination.
Your Student Scholar will most likely not have an account, so make sure to click “Click here to create a Student”.
The below fields will appear at the bottom. Make sure to fill out all required fields including:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email Address
- Gender
- State (enter in “AK” if international)
- Title (e.g. “Student”)
Once you have entered in all the required information, click “Create Nomination” and your nomination (application) will be saved.
By default, your Student will not have access to the application. By clicking “Invite Nominee to Co-Edit”, they will be notified via email and granted access to view and edit the nomination.
As the Nominator, you may complete all the criteria in the nomination/application and submit at any time.
As the Nominee, they will be able to complete all the criteria as well and mark it “Ready to Submit” for you, so you may review and submit.
**Nominee (Student) Perspective
Once you have completed the application, you may submit it on the last page by clicking “Submit Nomination”.
