Some interesting trivia:

Did you know? ---     x% of y  =  y% of x .

(eg.

Think of a “halvable number” (a number that can be divided by 2) say 18, then quiz someone, “What is 18% of 50?”

The answer is the same as 50% of 18  =  ½ of 18  = 9 ,)

Or

Think of a “quarterable number” (a number that can be divided by 4) say 32, then quiz someone, “What is 32% of 25?”

The answer is the same as 25% of 32 = ¼ of 32 = 8

1000 cm3  =  1 litre  =  1000 ml

* From this, you can infer that   1cm3  = 1 millitre

Litre, m3 

Recall that ….

1 litre        = 1000 cm3 

= 10cm x 10cm x 10cm

= m x  m  x   m

=  m3

Therefore,

1000 litre = 1 m3

Yes! Make no mistake!

1m3  is NOT 1 litre,     but    1m3  is 1000 litres!
