Kumon started its journey through BRAC Kumon Ltd. with the hope of spreading the Kumon Method all over Bangladesh. Together, we are gradually bringing this dream to light. Recently, as a part of the screening process, our respected franchise applicants came to visit BRAC Kumon Dhanmondi center. Here is a sneak peek of the event!

আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস উদযাপন

ভাষা শহীদদের ত্যাগের বিনিময়ে অর্জিত আমাদের মাতৃভাষা ‘বাংলা’। তাঁদের ত্যাগের মহিমা, বীরত্ব ও মাতৃভূমির প্রতি অকৃত্রিম ভালোবাসার গল্প সাহস যোগায় প্রতিটি হৃদয়ে।  

আমাদের কুমন শিশুরাও বেড়ে উঠছে ভাষা শহীদ ও মাতৃভাষা সম্পর্কিত জ্ঞান এবং তাঁদের প্রতি গভীর শ্রদ্ধা নিয়ে। মাতৃভূমির প্রতি আন্তরিক ভালোবাসায় ভরে উঠুক সকলের মন, এই প্রত্যাশায় আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবসে সকল ভাষাসৈনিকদের প্রতি ব্র‍্যাক কুমন পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা।

Kumon Kid, Rishika Helps The World

Rishika Jeyaprakash, a student of Kumon North America is a high-achieving 14 years old who thrives to make the world better than she found it. The motto of her non-profit organization ‘Little Helpers’ is “Spreading Kindness and Inspiring Others!”. Her successful little venture has raised over $8,000 for various causes and provided 4,500 new toys for a children’s hospital!

Why Choose Kumon English Program?

The goal of the Kumon English program is to develop an advanced level of English reading comprehension abilities. The worksheets are designed in gradual critical levels to enable students to understand the reading skill, listening skill, and comprehending English expressions.

'Connecting Sounds and Images' are placed with the greatest importance in this program with Audio and Visual materials (worksheets and audiobooks). This helps the students to acquire the language rather than to learn formulas for grammar. Moreover, in stages students are required to read aloud the English Expressions in the worksheets to gain confidence and understand their meanings.
