1 GENERAL RULES

1.1 Format of the Competition and Schedule

Three qualifying tournaments held online .

Identification of the top players through two phases:

The tournament is played in a knockout format. All players start randomly placed in the single-elimination tournament system in the Winners Bracket.

All players must, in the case of qualifying for the final event, play live at the Game Gang Show 2024. At the beginning of the elimination part of the tournament, a draw for teams is conducted on the main stage – each player receives an armband with a flag and plays the games as that country (with Competitive Master Switch and in Kick-Off 95 Rating Mode), thus digitally executing UEFA EURO 2024.

The tournament format consists of three open online qualifiers with single elimination in a BO1 format, where the top 8 players from each qualifier directly advance to the final event at GGS24.

The final event takes place at the Game Gang Show 2024 at Gospodarsko razstavišče on, April 6, 2024.

Tournament Activities Schedule:

1.2 Tournament Administrators

The tournament administrators are Urban Puhek and Samo Zavašnik. Players are required to behave courteously and respectfully towards the administrators. The administrator has the final say in all decisions. In exceptional circumstances, administrators reserve the right to modify or adjust the rules

1.3 Time Management

All participants must be ready for the game at the pre-announced playing times, which may be subject to change. All players must complete a "check-in" before the start of the game; failure to do so will result in disqualification from the tournament.

Tournament rules may be subject to change with the decision of the competition administrator to ensure a better experience for the participants.

In the event that a player is more than 10 minutes late for a match from the scheduled start time, they will be disqualified from the competition. If a player does not respond to the contacts provided at registration, they will be disqualified from the competition after 10 minutes have passed since the scheduled start time. Failure to report an opponent's no-show may result in a delay in the tournament progression, and consequently, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify players who are unresponsive or uncooperative in various parts of the tournament.

1.4 Consoles

All matches will be played on PlayStation 5 consoles.

1.5 Formations

5 and 3 at the back formations are restricted from competitive use, including the following formations: 5-2-2-1, 5-2-3, 5-4-1, 5-1-2-2, 5-2-1-2, 5-3-2, 3-5-2, 3-4-1-2, 3-4-2-1, 3-1-4-2-, 3-4-3. Competitors found to be using a restricted formation at any point during a match will be given an immediate loss, Repeated occurrences will result in removal from the tournament.

2.1 Overtime Rules:

In the event that a winner is not determined after two played halves, two overtime periods will be played, each lasting 3 minutes. If a winner is still not decided at that point, penalty shootouts will be played to determine the advancement in the tournament or the overall winner.

3. BREAKS AND INTERRUPTIONS

During the competition, a competitor may only pause the game in the case of a strategy change (maximum of 2 times) and in the event of a stopped game ("offside," "touchline," "fouls").

An exception for an additional pause can be made in cases where the competitor's player is sent off the field (yellow, red card, or injuries), and a change in the game strategy is required due to a substitution. This is not considered part of the basic substitutions.

4. UNAUTHORIZED BEHAVIOR AND PENALTIES

In the event of rule violations or failure to comply with the tournament administrator's instructions, the organizers reserve the right to exclude the competitor from the competition or impose a penalty as determined by the administrator. In the case of lateness for a match (more than 10 minutes), the administrator reserves the right to exclude the player or apply another form of penalty.

Every decision made by the administrator is final.
