1. Halloween Mad Libs
(Elementary & Middle School Level)
Need to review parts of speech (nouns, verbs, and adjectives) with your students? This is a fun and creative way for them to show what they know! Students will write the correct part of speech on the line to fill in the reading passage. They can get as silly or scary as they would like! They love sharing them with their peers, so it’s a great way to boost participation, too!
2. Counting Ghosts & ghouls - Pumpkins too!
(Lower Elementary Level)
In this activity, students practice counting how many ghosts, ghouls, or pumpkins there are for each question. At the end, they will add them together to find the complete sum. Students will really love the Halloween graphics on this one!
3. Halloween - Then and now
(Upper Elementary Level)
Have you ever wondered where Halloween originated from? Students will read a brief passage about the History of Halloween and traditions that exist today. After, they will answer four short questions to assess their reading comprehension.
4. DIa DE Los muertos y Mariposas Monarca:
(High School Level)
This fascinating informational reading passage and question set introduces students to the unique Mexican day of remembrance and how monarch butterflies factor into its origins. It includes a step-by-step set of instructions for planting milkweed right now!!
5. Pan de Muertos Recipe:
(Reading Level is Sixth to Seventh Grade but discretion is advised)
This short reading passage and question set includes an easy recipe for Dia de Los Muertos celebrations. Beware!! It will make your students very hungry for the bread of the dead.

Add Co-Teachers to Your TeacherMade Account Today!
The instructions below will have you linked up with your Teaching Team, Co-Teachers, or Administrators in 5 minutes or less. (To read these instructions with a white background, click here.)
Login to your TeacherMade account, then => click on your profile icon in the upper right corner.
Select “Co-Teachers Settings” from the drop down menu that appears:
Next, the Co-Teachers page will appear. This is where you can add Co-Teachers to your account and choose their permissions:
Permission Levels
Giving a colleague this permission will allow them to see your account in its entirety but will prevent them from actually doing anything in it. This is great for sharing student’s grades and work with Co-Teachers, Intervention Specialists, or even Administrators.
This option is exactly as it sounds. The Co-Teachers who you give Full-Access to will be able to do everything you can do within your account. They will be able to edit scores, create worksheets, and even assign work to students. This full-access option is perfect for Co-Teachers, Para Professionals, and even long-term substitutes! The options are endless.
Co-Teacher Access Status
Once a Co-Teacher accepts your invitation, or you accept someone else’s invite, the status of who has access and their permission level is displayed here:
You can edit a Co-Teacher’s permissions or remove them from your account at any time. There is no limit to the number of Co-Teachers you can add.
Accessing Another User’s Account
To access another user’s account as a Co-Teacher, either choose “Access as this user” or choose the profile icon in the upper right corner and then choose their name from under Co-Teachers :
Once you are in another user's account, you will see this in the top right of your account:
