Editor’s Corner

Jai Jinendra,

Preparations for Mahavir Jayanti are in full swing!

As these preparations continue to move at a fast clip, let’s take a moment to recognize leaders and volunteers who are already helping with the various cultural programs and Puja and those who will follow shortly to help with the stage decorations, video shooting, kitchen duties and more!

Equally important has been the sponsoring for many different aspects of the program.  To those who have already pledged, we sincerely thank you! We still have quite a gap to fill - please consider pledging for this auspicious occasion, and contact Mr. Pratyush Mehta if interested for further details.

4. Food Table Corner

Food served during monthly meetings and special events has played a vital role in building our community over the years. It has enabled us to spend quality time to learn Jainism and socialize with other fellow Jains without having to worry about our usual lunch/dinner planning that day. This wouldn't have been possible without the hard work and monetary donations from several individuals. We are extremely grateful for their efforts and thank them for their continued contributions. Visit the following link to find more details on these individuals.

2019 Food Table Volunteers

Note that as our community has grown over the years, sustaining the food table program has become challenging. We encourage you to help us here by volunteering to serve as a host, volunteering to prepare food or providing monetary donation so that some food items can be catered.

Please contact our food coordinator, Mr. Rajan Chheda @ (978) 408-7284  for any questions / details.
