Update: You must meet Facebook’s new security requirement before you can install 22Social apps on your page.

Luckily, we have made this very simple for you to do:

• Facebook now requires pages with less than 2,000 fans to add a verified app developer as an admin of your page before you can install custom apps on it.
• We have setup a verified app developer account that you can add to your page as an admin.
• We found that the “Analyst” page role meets their requirements. Rest assured that the Analyst page role is very limited and will only be able to view the insights of your page. It will not be able to edit or add content to your page.
• You only need to do this one time for each page that you want to install 22Social apps on.
• This process is simple and only takes 2-3 minutes to complete. However, the approval process may take 24-48 hours because we have to manually accept your request. *We only have to do this one time and then you will be able to install multiple apps on your page.

We have made it extremely fast and easy for you to meet this new requirement. Follow the steps below:

Step 1:
Go to the “Page Roles” section of your page.

1. Go to your Page.
2. Click “Settings” in the upper right corner.
3. Click “Page Roles” on the left menu.

Step 2:
Add the Install Helper as an Analyst of your page.

1. Scroll down to the “Assign a New Page Role” section.
2. Type in “helper@22Social.com”
3. Click “Install Helper” when it appears below.
   *If it doesn’t appear, try typing in the email again.
4. In the drop down menu on the right, change the role to Analyst.

Step 3:
Click “Add”

• Make sure that “Install Helper” appears in the box on the left. If it doesn’t, repeat step 2.
• The “Add” button should be dark blue and clickable.
• Click the “Add” button.

Step 4:
Re-enter Your Password to complete the process.

Step 5: 
Wait to be approved.

• You will see the “Pending” status.

• Once you’ve been approved, you will no longer see the “Pending” status. This means your page has been approved.

Step 6:
Install 22Social apps on your page whenever you want.

• Once approved, you will be able to install multiple 22Social apps on your page by going to www.22s.com/install.

Important: Do NOT remove “Install Helper” from your page. If you do, you will not be able to install 22Social apps on your page and you will have to go through this process again.
