Guide to obtain the credentials to automate WooCommerce

In this guide you will learn the steps to obtain the credentials of your WooCommerce account and with which you can automate the publication of new products.

First of all we will create some new WooCommerce credentials and finally we will connect them to Botize.

Create credentials for access to WooCommerce

Within your Wordpress site, click on the "WooCommerce" section on the left menu and select the "Settings" option.

Then click on the "Advanced" tab and in the "REST API" section.

Now click the "Add Key" button.

In the form that is going to be displayed, indicate:

1. A description, for example "Botize Access".

2. Select a user with permissions to create products in WooCommerce

3.In the "Permissions" option select "Read/Write".

Finally click the "Generate API Key".

As a result you will get a "Client Key" and a "Client Secret Key".

Connect your WooCommerce account with Botize

Go to the Botize Applications section and enter the WooCommerce application. You can do it from this link:

Once inside, click on Start using it now. A form like the following will appear.

Indicate in the countryside "Wordpress Site URL" the address of your Wordpress page, for example: https://mysiteInWordpress.com.

In the "Consumer Key" field, indicate the customer key that you obtained in the previous step.

In the "Consumer Secret" field, indicate the client secret key that you obtained in the previous step.

Click the "Authorize" button.

Create your first task

You can now set up automations by connecting your WooCommerce account, for example with this formula to publish each new Amazon offer in your store.
