Principal’s Welcome Letter
Dear CASLV Windmill Families,
As the principal of Windmill campus, it is my pleasure to welcome all of you to the 2019-2020 school year! We are all excited to have students back in our classrooms filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning. We strive to challenge each student to grow in his/her academic abilities. At Windmill, we have great teachers who spend hours on planning and creating classroom activities to engage our students in learning. The exciting addition of new staff, new families, and new programs will make our school better.
We are delighted to welcome the following staff to the CASLV Windmill who will bring positive change:
We have 1 to 1 technology for each student in all classrooms. We would like to thank our parents for their generous donations to make it happen. Providing each student with a chromebook will allow all students to participate in collaboration and enhance interaction with what they are learning. With each student having their own chromebook, you will never have to worry about students having to share technology or sink into passive learning.
We believe that all of us – the school and the community – must work together in an extended family environment to ensure success for all our students. We believe it is everyone’s responsibility to empower children with the creative, intellectual, and decision-making skills necessary for them to become academically, socially, physically, and emotionally successful and responsible. With that in mind, you are invited to be an active participant at Windmill campus. Whether you are a classroom volunteer, a member of the PTO, special event participant, or member of one of our school communities, you are encouraged to be involved!
I am honored to serve as the principal of Windmill campus. It is truly a privilege to serve the students, parents, staff, and community of such a remarkable district. My goal is to ensure that all children are healthy, happy and safe, so they may learn as much as they can. I will work tirelessly to ensure all students have the best possible experiences while at Windmill.
It is my desire to keep you informed of all that is taking place at school. Up-to-date and additional information will be sent to you periodically. If you have questions or concerns that arise at any time, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 702-485-3410. I look forward to having a long and rewarding relationship with you and your family.
Let’s make it a more productive and successful year together.
