• Cereal, flour, grains, pasta, and rice
• Spoiled and expired food
• Eggshells
• Nuts, seeds, pits, and shells
• Coffee grounds and tea leaves

Food-soiled Paper (Unbleached/Uncoated):

• Towels and napkins
• Paper plates
• Coffee filters and tea bags
• Paper bags
• Uncoated food service paper trays and boxes

Organic Matter:

• Animal bedding
• Brew grains
• House plants, plant trimmings, cut flowers

Non Acceptable Material:

• Meat
• Dairy
• Eggs
• Compostable cups/plates/utensils/bags
• Animal waste
• Bones
• Any large plant, roots and woody materials
• Any trash appropriate for landfills, metal or recyclable material
• Oil
• Cardboard
• PLU stickers
• Produce twist ties
• Produce rubber bands
