Top Five Sources for Master Gardener Continuing Education


1.   Monthly calendar of local garden related events–the monthly Brown County Seed Library eletter includes a broad calendar of northeastern Wisconsin gardening events.  The compiler includes many educational opportunities, such as workshops (virtual and in person) by Wild Ones and University of Wisconsin Extension.  These types of sessions may be applied to NEWMG continuing education hours.  To subscribe to this newsletter, email subscription request to seedsaver@newmastergardeners.org.

2. Wisconsin Public Radio’s  “Garden Talk” is moderated by Larry Meiller.  It features a gardening and horticulture guest every Friday. The 90 minute program may be accessed live, Fridays at 11 am-12:30 pm. Or, you may consult the archives of the show.

3.  “Free Online Programs for Wisconsin Gardeners,” sponsored by the UW-Madison

Division of Extension Horticulture Program.  And here is a link to the archives of past presentations.

4.  The annual Garden and Landscape Expo is produced by PBS.  There is a selection of recorded horticulture 2022 presentations on the  Expo’s Facebook page.
