Note: In January 2021, a pro-Trump mob facilitated a riot at the U.S. Capitol building where Congress was certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 U.S. presidential election. During the riot, the Capitol was breached, placing Congress in lockdown and suspending the certification of the state electors.
