ANTI-RACISM RESOURCES FOR MARINITES

“In a racist society it is not enough to be non-racist, we must be anti-racist.”

 - Angela Y. Davis

“The beauty of anti-racism is that you don’t have to pretend to be free of racism to be an anti-racist. Anti-racism is the commitment to fight racism wherever you find it, including in yourself. And it’s the only way forward”

- Ijeoma Oluo

This document is a collection of recommended resources I have found around the internet that may be useful for Marin folks to deepen understanding of racial injustice and police violence, to recognize racism in our own communities, and to take action.

*This is an incomplete and evolving resource list. Email me (chloe.hoeber@gmail.com) if you have anything to add, especially Marin specific information. I have not yet read/watched/listened to most of these resources in full. My personal recommendations so far are in bold.
