Best Game Room Competition Rules

It’s time to enter the Best Game Room competition! Entry period for the Fall Session opens at 9:00 AM ET on October 1st, 2025 and closes with the game on December 31st, 2025.

In order to enter the Best Game Room contest, you must fulfill the following requirements:

1. Title your room `BGR Fall 25 Game: XXXX` (Example: BGR Fall 25 Game: Fashion Yeti.) Room submissions that do not contain `BGR Fall 25` at the beginning will not be considered. This step should be completed last and only done when you are fully ready to enter the contest.
2. Only one entry per person. You may only name one room as BGR Fall 25 Game: XXXX. If you have more than one room with that name, none of your rooms will be taken into consideration.
3. Write the rules and expectations for the event. This is the information you say in-game if a player asks, “How do I play?” These will be shared with Staff when they come to test your room.
4. Test your event with your friends and the community! Community engagement is integral to a game and making sure it runs smoothly. Try to run your event a few times on the Guest Rooms list!
5. You cannot build for another person or let another player build a room for you.
6. Rooms must follow the expectations and remain appropriate. Rooms that are deemed inappropriate will be subject to disciplinary actions.
7. You cannot enter a room if you have won a Best Game Room contest in the most recent session.
8. You cannot win both the Best Game Room and Best Guest Room competitions in the same session. Feel free to enter both if you choose, but you can only win one contest each session.

Once your room is ready for submission, title it appropriately as outlined in number 1 above. After your room is entered into the contest, a staff member will contact you to do a run through. *You will not be considered fully entered until you have tested your event with staff and they place a judging flag in your room. This means that if you do not have a flag placed in your room by the deadline, your room will not be considered for the competition.*

The Best Game Room winner will be announced in the following month after the session closes.

The winner of the Best Game Room competition will receive:

• 1 x Best Game Award
• 1 x Jungle Cruise Explorer’s Tent
• VIP Badge on their Character for the following 2 months
• 50,000 Credits
• Player’s Game will become a HOST event during the following month*

The winner of the Best Game Room competition will not be able to enter a room for Best Game Room  in the following session.

Prizes for this competition will remain the same for as long as the competition runs unless otherwise stated in advance by VMKL Staff.

All eligible entries will receive the BGR Participant pin for that session, including the winner! Players receiving only the participant pin are allowed to continue participating in the Best Game Room competition without any cooldown period before entering again. Note that even if you participate in both contests, only one pin will be received per player for the session.

When you are ready to enter the competition, you must have `BGR Fall 25` at the beginning of your title. A judging flag will be placed in your room when it has been reviewed and tested with staff. The judging flag will not be transferred to the player account after the competition is complete, so if you store the flag it will be lost forever. *Do not rename your room until the results are announced, even if the room has a judging flag. You may lose your qualification if the room is renamed before the competition has concluded.*

*For additional transparency: the winning player will be given the opportunity to help host their event during the official HOST event time. In order to help host, the player must be online 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. If the player helps host an event for 30 minutes they will receive 1 winning prize and 1 consolation prize for that event. If the event is extended for a full hour, the player will receive an additional consolation prize.
