ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS WHO HAVE SCHOOL OWNED CHROMEBOOKS AND HOTSPOTS AT HOME. They are due back NOW.   Devices can be brought to the Tech Office room D16 at any time.    If devices and chargers are not turned in, the device cost will be charged to your fees.  

Ottoville Students: The Home and School Association is once again doing their Motivational Lottery this year! Stop in the high school office on Tuesday, May 18 before or after school, or before school on Wednesday, May 19 to receive your tickets and choose which prizes you would like to be entered in for. The drawing for prizes will be on Wednesday at lunch!

Kalida Junior Girls who are interested in running for Pioneer Queen 2021 should pick up a form in Student Services. Forms must be turned in to Kalida high school office by Friday, May 21st.

Delphos St Johns Seniors will be dismissed at 12:15 for senior group picture at the high school. Students will need to sign out in the front office and sign in at St Johns.

Kalida Students who have your own transportation will be dismissed at noon to attend the field day at the high school. Please sign out in the front office here and sign in at Kalida.

Van Wert Seniors will be dismissed at 9:30 to attend the senior awards ceremony at the PAC center. Please sign out in the front office and sign in there.

Crestview Juniors and Wayne Trace Seniors should report to the Commons at this time for a brief meeting.

Ft Jennings Students will be dismissed at noon to attend the Student Council Olympics (Field Day) at the high school. Students will need to sign out in the front office here and sign in at the high school.

Antwerp Students can pick up prom photos in the Antwerp high school office.

Paulding Seniors should fill out the google form from Mr. Foster regarding your menu choice for the senior meal today.

Lincolnview Students: Prom tickets can be purchased before school here on Friday, April 30th from 7:50 until school starts.

Antwerp Students who would like to order a yearbook should pick up a form in Student Services. Yearbooks are $45 and must be turned in the high school office by this Friday, April 30th.

Wayne Trace Seniors, today is your last day to sign up for the Cedar Point trip.  Email Mrs. Franz by 3pm if you would like to attend.

All materials checked out of the Media Center by seniors are due this Friday, April 30th.

Any SENIOR that is interested in giving the Class of 2021 speech at our Awards ceremony should sign up in student services. We will have the sign up available until Wednesday at the end of the day.

Continental Students: Today is the last day to sign up for the dodgeball tournament at post prom and to sign up your dodgeball team in Student Services.

Delphos St Johns Seniors will have Senior CPR training at the high school on Monday, April 26th at 8:00 AM. Also, sign up for Prom in the St Johns high school office, for single ticket, $15, $25 for a couple. The deadline for registration is May 4th. Reminder to submit Prom guidelines, dance guest forms, and photos of prom dresses. No late submissions will be accepted.  

Lincolnview Students: Prom tickets can be purchased after school until 3:20 at the high school  until Thursday April 29th! Ticket prices are $15 for single, single combo - prom and after prom $20, couples $25 and couple combo - prom and after prom $30.

Ottoville Students: Prom picture order forms are available in Student Services.

Wayne Trace Seniors please remember to turn in your Graduation survey form to Student Services today.  If you don't have it, please email Mrs. Franz.  Please also read your email about the class trip.

Delphos St Johns Seniors will have Senior CPR training at the high school on Monday, April 26th at 8:00 AM. This will be an all day event. Parents will need to follow the social distancing and mask guidelines. Sign up for Prom is currently underway in the St Johns high school office. Single $15, $25 for a couple. After prom tickets will be available at the door for $3.00. Also Van Wert Seniors will have class portrait this Thursday, April 22nd at 8:05 a.m and also will have a class meeting and distribution of caps and gowns.

Westrich Furniture in Delphos is looking for a hardworking and motivated student to join their team. Job responsibilities include preparing furniture and/or appliances for deliveries, lift up to 50 lbs. April 16, 2021

Ottoville Students: Prom tickets will be for sale until 3:30 PM today at the high school.  

Continental Students should pick up prom guest forms in Student Services.

Lincolnview Students: Please complete the Prom favor form that Mrs. Johnson sent out. If you completed it but are NOT going to Prom please email her right away. The T-Shirt is included in the price of the Prom Ticket(s). This is due TODAY April 16th, otherwise you will not be getting a T-shirt with your prom ticket.

Crestview After Prom is a GO!  It will be held at the Decatur Bowling Alley from 1130-130.  Tickets will be sold at CHS next week starting on Tuesday in Mrs. Sawmiller's room for $3.

Van Wert Students: PROM TICKETS can be picked up/purchased in the high school office after school through April 22. Guest forms are also due to the VWHS office by April 22. After prom tickets will be available at the door for $3.00.

Paulding Students should pick up prom guest forms in Student Services.

Next week is the week for End of Course Graduation Tests.  On Tuesday and Thursday only those students who have a test are required to be here at the normal time of 8:20.  All other Vantage students are expected to report on a 2 hour delay schedule.  Buses will run on the normal schedule, so if you do not have to report until 10:20 you must find your own transportation or otherwise ride the bus arriving at the normal time.  There will be activities available for those students who arrive at the normal time because of busing, but have no test to take. Again this is only for next Tuesday and Thursday.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday we will run on a normal schedule.

All Early Childhood juniors report to the lab at 8:50 for Inservice.


April 15, 2021

Ottoville Students: Prom tickets will be for sale from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM on Thursday, April 15 and Friday, April 16. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased from Mr. Utendorf.

Continental Students should pick up prom guest forms in Student Services.

Reminder to Seniors, today is the last day to order a cap and gown from Jostens. Go to jostens.com to place your order.

Van Wert Students: PROM TICKETS can be picked up/purchased in the high school office after school through April 22. Guest forms are also due to the VWHS office by April 22. The Optimist Club is sponsoring AFTER PROM from 11:30pm to1:00am. They will have Casino games, corn hole, karaoke, prizes, and free food! Tickets will be available at the door for $3.00.

Attention Vantage Staff and Students,

The Van Wert County Health Department will be having a Covid vaccine clinic this Friday, April 9th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Van Wert County Health Department office. They will be using the Pfizer vaccine which is licensed for ages 16 and up.

Students under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent and everyone being vaccinated will need to bring a photo ID and insurance card.

Ottoville Students should stop by Student Services to pick up a post prom form. Forms are due in the Ottoville High School office by March 31st.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, sophomores from our 13 associate schools will be visiting Vantage Career Center.  Only those Vantage students who have been invited by their program teachers will be in attendance. There will be no bus transportation these days. Don’t forget that this week the Cafeteria is celebrating National School Breakfast Week and are giving away 5 day passes to the Van Wert YMCA and 5 passes to Camp Clay. You need to be at the main entrance of the school at 7:00 AM and go to the library to take it. If you have not turned in a baby picture yet, you HAVE to bring a printed one with you. If you don’t show or don’t have your picture, you risk not being in the senior video.

Any SENIOR girl interested in representing Vantage Career Center as a candidate for Peony Queen Pageant should stop by Mrs. Evans’ room, C-14, and pick up an application.  Peony Queen candidates must write an essay of 250 words or less stating why she would like to be Queen Jubilee XLVI (46), go through an interview process, and also have a talent selection for the pageant.  All candidates must be able to attend all required scheduled events, including meet the candidates at various local club meetings, pageant rehearsals, the Peony Pageant, the Peony festival, and various local parades.  Again, any senior girl interested in representing Vantage as a candidate in this pageant must see Mrs. Evans in room C-14 and pick up an application.  Applications and the essay are due to Mrs. Evans on Monday, November 16.  A committee will then select applicants to interview and Vantage’s candidate will be chosen by November 23.  ONLY SENIOR GIRLS are eligible to represent Vantage as a candidate. The Pageant is April 2, 2021.

When you buy a flag, please write a message in honor of those who have served on a large white signature board that will be on display with the flag field. It's important to keep your mask covering your nose and mouth when in the school building. If you need to lower your mask to eat, please remember to consume all foods in the commons in the morning or at your designated location at lunch. Overall, you are all doing a great job!

Wayne Trace Students who did not see Mrs. Franz should stop by Student Services to vote for Homecoming.

Van Wert and Parkways Students should stop by Student Services and vote for Homecoming attendants.

Students, please remember if your home school is closed for any reason other than weather related issues, such as teacher in-service etc, you are required to attend Vantage if Vantage is in session at normal starting times. Home schools may not provide residential bus pick up on these days but will provide bus transportation from the home school to Vantage. Students may have to arrange transportation from home to the home school to catch the Vantage bus. Please plan ahead. See Mr. Miller if you have any questions. Paulding bus will be providing transportation tomorrow and Tuesday. Pick up times are as follows: at Oakwood Elementary at 7:15, Morning Star in Melrose @ 7:20 and Paulding High School at 7:45.

Fall Sport Spirit Day will be celebrated at Vantage tomorrow.  Students involved in a fall sport, or extracurricular activity at their home school, should wear their team jersey, t-shirt or uniform shirt for pictures in the commons after announcements. The Cafeteria is serving Nacho Go which consists of a Bag of Doritos, Salsa, Red Pepper Hummus, and Mozzarella Cheese Stick. Just ask the Cafeteria server for it when you enter either serving line.
