Juniors who are interested in College Credit Plus should sign up in Student Services by Wednesday, April 1st.

Crestview Seniors: Convoy Tastee Freeze Scholarship Forms can be picked up in Student Services are due back by Monday, April 17. Applications for employment for Tastee Freeze can also be picked up in Student Services.

Any student interested in submitting artwork to the high school art exhibit at the Delphos public library, the deadline to turn entries in to the media center is Monday, March 23rd.

The Creamery in Delphos are now taking applications. Stop by Student Services to pick up an application.

Light Up the Night at PROM is Friday, March 27th. Join us at Vantage Career Center in the Commons for Vantage’s first prom from  6:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Cost is $10 per ticket. For more information, contact the Prom Committee at ext. 2526.

Vantage Prom committee is offering free tuxedos and dresses to Vantage students who are planning to attend our prom. We are asking for students to loan/donate dresses by Wednesday,  March 11th. Dresses can be dropped off in room A-07 starting at 8 am from now until next Wednesday. Tux and dress fittings will take place by the Community room  on Thursday March 12th during Haiti activities. This past weekend marked some notable accomplishments by a few Vantage student athletes.

First off Chase Martin and Randall Mills qualified for the State Wrestling tournament to be held in Columbus this week.

Chase is a junior from Delphos St. John in Electricity and Randall is a senior from Antwerp in Industrial Mechanics.

Congratulations Chase and Randall.

Second, the Antwerp and Parkway boys basketball teams advanced to the regional tournament to be held in Bowling Green this week. Congratulations to Jacob Savina, Owen Sheedy and Hunter Grant who are members of the Antwerp team and to Kendall Roof of the Parkway team!

St Johns Seniors will have CPR Training on Monday, March 9th at the high school. All seniors will need to be at the school by 10 AM for the class and will last until the end of the school day.  

Haiti Event Day is March 12th! This event raises money for the Vantage Interact Club and supports our Carpentry School in Haiti. Interact members will be in the cafeteria with permission slips. Students need to get a teacher-signed permission slip for each academic class and pay $4 for each class.

Jostens will be here tomorrow before school to deliver graduation items. Orders must be paid in full before picking up items. Clothing and other items are also available for purchase. Jostens only accepts cash or money orders, no checks will be accepted.

Attention all seniors.  This is a friendly and important reminder.  All Mock Interview documents are due today.  This includes the job application.  Please double check your interview folder today during your English class or advance period to make sure you have a Cover Letter, Resume, and references sheet.  

There will be an Interact Meeting during both AM and PM Advantage periods. Students need to turn in their Flower order forms today! Also, they need to check Google Classroom for the Haiti Event Day schedule to see when they are working.

Paulding Students: Homecoming Guest forms are due today in the PHS office.

Tomorrow, sophomores from our 13 associate schools will be visiting Vantage Career Center.  Only those Vantage students who have been invited by their program teachers will be in attendance. There will be no bus transportation that day. If any of our home schools are delayed, Sophomore Day will be postponed until February 5th and all Vantage students are expected to be in attendance on Friday.  If this happens, an alert will be sent out and the information will also be on our website, so listen carefully to weather delays Friday morning.  If there is no Vantage alert, Sophomore Day is being held as scheduled and only invited students will need to be in attendance.

Lincolnview Beta Club is sponsoring a Say Yes to a Prom Dress event at the Lincolnview Community Center on Saturday, February 8th. Dresses are free for area high school girls or if you have a dress to donate, you may do so as well. Stop by Student Services for more information. Also, Lincolnview Seniors will have a senior class meeting tomorrow morning in the lecture hall at 7:30 AM.

Delphos Jefferson Seniors should make sure senior pictures and baby pictures have been turned in to Mrs. Braun for yearbook by Dec. 20th or the Lifetouch school picture will be used as your senior picture unless you have personally talked to Mrs. Braun.

The book fair is still going on in the Media Center today.  A reminder to students who have books on hold - items can be held through Tuesday of next week.  Please stop in the Media Center and make arrangements to pick up your items by next Tuesday.

Wayne Trace Students interested in doing the spring musical Tarzan, should pick up a flyer in Student Services.

Van Wert Students: Van Wert High School Theatre Musical Auditions for Tarzan will be Dec 9-11. Sign-ups and Audition Info. are outside of the High School Choir Room at Van Wert High School.

Today is Toss-A-Toy day! Students who wish to attend the event must report to the Community room during the class periods they have paid for. Permission slips for students who have not yet completed them are available in the Community room.

The week after Thanksgiving is the fall retakes for End of Course Graduation Tests.  Lab teachers will be handing out testing and tutoring schedules to students during lab. Only those students who have a testing schedule are required to be here at the normal time of 8:20.  All other Vantage students are expected to report on a 2 hour delay schedule.  Buses will run on the normal schedule, so if you do not have to report until 10:20 you must find your own transportation or otherwise ride the bus arriving at the normal time.  There will be activities available for those students who arrive at the normal time because of busing, but have no test to take.

Any student or staff who would like to order books at a great discount, please see Mrs. Knodel in the Media Center.  Book requests can be for all ages, toddler through adult.

The Student Ambassadors would like to say Thank You to all who purchases flags in honor of Veterans who served in the US military! We made $207.00 during our lunch sales, but that's not all. A huge Thank You goes out to the Construction Equipment Technology juniors and seniors who added $150.00 for a grand total of $357.00 to be donated to the Rockford American Legion! Great Job, Everyone!

Vantage Student Ambassadors will be honoring the great men and women who have served or are currently serving in the United States Military. For Veterans Day this year, Ambassadors are selling small flags to help us create a “flag field”. Flags are sold this week during lunches for $.50 each. When you buy a flag, please write a message on a large signature board that will be on display with the flag field. All proceeds will benefit Rockford American Legion.

Congratulations to Violet Taylor, a Senior in Criminal Justice and from Parkway High School. She is the T102 Army Honor Roll weekly winner based on her grades, achievements and activities. She won a $50 gift card!

Any senior interested in Financial Aid for College should sign up in student services for a presentation that will be held on Wednesday in the Community Room. Tonight there will be a High School celebration at Fountain Park. If you are in need of any school supplies, all you have to do is show up at Fountain park. Any Vantage student from any of our school districts is eligible to show up at Fountain Park from 6:00 - 8:30 tonight and pick up the school supplies that you may need. This is sponsored by the Operation Back to School Committee.

There will be a Student Ambassador meeting in the Community Room at this time.
