Description - Lingsha is a 5 star fire abundance unit with the main focus of her kit being around sustaining, boosting break damage and having a FUA in the form of Fuyuan. Let’s take a closer look at each part of her kit.
Talent - Let’s first begin with her talent since that is the most important part of her kit. Her talent will summon Fuyuan on the field. Fuyuan has 90 base spd and starts with 3 initial actions. Fuyuan will deal FUA aoe fire damage whenever she attacks with also 1 additional single target instance of damage which will prioritise non-broken fire weak enemies. Fuyuan also heals the entire party (all her healing is based on attack) when she attacks and dispels 1 debuff from each ally. The amount of actions Fuyuan has is also capped at 5, and Fuyuan will disappear whenever Linghsa is knocked down or Fuyuan has 0 actions.
Basic - Her basic is just the basic single target damage which deals fire damage so nothing interesting here.
Skill - Her skill is the way you will gain Fuyuan actions though. When Lingsha uses her skill, she will deal aoe fire damage and heal the entire team. Using her skill also adds 3 actions to Fuyuan and advances Fuyuan by 20%.
Ultimate - Linghsa will deal aoe fire damage and heal the entire party. Her ult also inflicts the “Befog” debuff on enemies. At lvl 10 this will increase the break dmg taken by enemies by 25% for 2 turns. Her ult also advances Fuyuan by 100% so will attack immediately after the ult.
Traces - Her first trace will make it so whenever any ally takes dmg or consumes hp, and their Hp is below 60%. Fuyuan will immediately attack and won’t consume any of the actions. This attack can only be triggered once every 2 turns. Her second trace makes it so her basic regenerates 10 more energy which puts it at 30 energy which is the same amount as her skill. Her third trace makes it so her atk and outgoing healing bonus is increased by respectively 25%/10% of her be with a maximum of 50% atk and 20% outgoing healing bonus. Which makes it so the trace is maxed out at 200% be.
Technique - For her technique she will immediately spawn Fuyuan at the start of battle and also inflict the “Befog” debuff on enemies for 2 turns.
Minor traces - Her minor traces will increase Be (37.3%) , Hp (18%) and Atk (10%).
As told earlier, Lingsha’s main focus is around improving break damage and having a FUA. Break damage is only improved by her ult debuff, but Lingsha also has really high personal toughness damage which leads to faster breaking and so also faster clears. Her bunny, skill and ultimate are all aoe which makes her an excellent sustain for pf especially if the enemy is fire weak. Fire break is tied with Physical as the strongest break so she will deal a good amount of damage when she breaks.
Something interesting you may have noticed with her first trace is that the trigger for the emergency heal is 60%, which is exactly the amount Firefly will be left at when she uses her skill. We will get into teams later, but you can already see she has synergy with her.
Emergency heal also has the added bonus of not changing the AV of Fuyuan in any way. You can think of this like how Seele’s “Resurgence” works. This leads to more Fuyuan actions in total as to if it was an 100% action advance which messes with the AV.
A tip I will already give and later repeat when talking about her build. Make sure to not use her ultimate when Fuyuan almost has her action. The ult is not like the emergency heal where it won’t change the AV. Her ultimate makes it so Fuyuan is advanced by 100% so using her ultimate right before Fuyuan acts makes it so you lose a Fuyuan action and as such have less healing, less cleanse and less damage. The same principle also applies to her skill since it advances Fuyuan by 20% and using it right before Fuyuan acts makes it so you waste action advance. This happens less often though so don’t be worried if you skill right before Fuyuan especially if Fuyuan has almost no actions left. I will later also give the spd breakpoints Lingsha has with regards to the amount of Fuyuan actions and how many times you use her skill.
Little note to when Fuyuan acts: As I said earlier, when Fuyuan acts she will deal aoe damage and 1 instance of single target damage. Both parts of this attack do toughness damage. This makes it so she has good toughness damage against single target enemies. Which enemy gets the damage depends on if they are fire weak and not broken. If the enemy is not fire weak or is broken, then it will be random if not then it will prioritise them.
Another note for when playing Lingsha: When using her in all end game modes she will start as any other character with half of her max energy so she will only need 2 skills or basics to get her ultimate (Remember the trace which gives +10 energy to basic). I would generally recommend to start the battle with 2 basics since using skill won’t grant another Fuyuan action unless your Lingsha is really slow, but that generally won’t be the case. Make sure to use skill after her ultimate though since you only have 1 Fuyuan action left, and then you are back up to 4 and have advanced Fuyuan without wasting any AV.

E1s1: Lingsha’s break efficiency is increased by 50% and whenever an enemy’s weakness is broken. Their def is reduced by 20% | 122.29% | 138.84%
E2s1: Makes it so all allies break effect is increased by 40% which lasts for 3 turns. | 105.87% | 146.99%
E3s1: Standard Ultimate +2 lvl’s and Talent +2 lvl’s. | 101.16% | 148.69%
E4s1: Whenever Fuyuan attacks, the ally with the lowest hp will now additionally get healed by 40% of Lingsha’s attack. | 100.00% | 148.69%

Before discussing her build and giving team examples. I wanted to give an explanation as to which characters work well with Lingsha and why.
Character | Explanation |
I think it’s pretty obvious why a break dps would like a break focussed sustain. Lingsha especially has good synergy with firefly since both of them are fire which makes it so Lingsha can help with reducing toughness which allows Firefly to break faster and do even more damage. The emergency heal aligns perfectly with Firefly Hp consumption after using her skill. The two of them form a great team together and allows Firefly to be even better in Pure fiction because of Lingsha’s aoe.
Almost all of Lingsha’s attacks are aoe and combined deal a good amount of toughness damage. This means when combined with Himeko in Pure fiction the two of them will be constantly breaking as long the enemy is fire weak and this allows Himeko to do a lot of dmg. Especially works well with Super break Himeko since Lingsha will boost her damage even more with her debuff.
Fuyuan will always act a certain amount of times each rotation. This makes it so you have a reliable follow up that you can time and with it can maximise Numby’s action advance which allows for a lot of Numby attacks and just lets Topaz deal a lot of damage. The two of them combined will also shred fire weak enemies toughness for even more damage.
If you know anything about break then you know that Ruan Mei is one of the best support characters for the archetype. She allows Lingsha to do even more toughness damage and of course also helps her with the Res Pen% she provides. The extra damage when breaking and extra delay are also great, so Lingsha can really benefit from her buffs.
To be specific, we are talking about Harmony Trailblazer here. Just as Firefly likes to have Hmc, Lingsha does too. Hmc provides a good amount of additional be% and also gives Lingsha the ability to deal Superbreak damage which she will deal a lot of considering how many times she can attack and how much Toughness damage she does.
While Bronya’s buffs don’t do a lot for Lingsha except for the attack to make her heal even more. Lingsha does benefit from the action advance which can make her ult faster and allow for more Fuyuan actions. Just make sure you have enough SP when you use these two together. Having E1s1 Bronya will help a lot in making sure you have enough SP.
I already talked earlier about Lingsha and Topaz having good synergy together. With Topaz being one of the best teammates for Feixiao, Lingsha also has good synergy with Feixiao. Their synergy goes further than that since Lingsha does a lot of attacks herself with her own attacks and Fuyuan combined. Feixiao gains less from the debuff on Lingsha’s ult, but breaking with Lingsha also adds a lot of damage to the enemy.
March likes to have characters who attack a lot as her Shifu. Good thing that Lingsha has a lot of attacks which makes a combination of the two of them a great combo. Both in break and crit based teams.
Boothill is our other break dps and also benefits from Lingsha especially from her ult debuff. If the enemy is fire weak then Lingsha will also help reduce the toughness. The only thing you have to worry about with Lingsha is making sure you have enough skill points for Boothill which can be a problem depending on the team. Lingsha also helps with attacking the extra enemies in Moc which can also be great for Boothill.
I know how many times I have repeated this, but Robin is also a character who likes teammates who attack a lot, especially if their attacks are fua. Robin will be able to add damage to each of Lingsha’s attacks and the two of them make a great combination in every FUA team.
Jade is another character who likes characters who do a lot of attacks. Especially if those attacks are aoe. The two of them will be a great combination in Pure fiction and will attack a lot of times. Adding another character who does a lot of Aoe attacks (Like Himeko) can make the team even better.
Rappa is an aoe break dps. You know which character also does really well in aoe scenarios and happens to be a break sustain? Oh yeah, that's Lingsha. To really add on their synergy. Rappa doesn’t use nearly as much sp as someone like Firefly so the sp problem you could have in those teams. Just doesn’t exist in Rappa teams, which makes their synergy even better since Lingsha can now do even more skills which is just more toughness damage and healing. The only thing holding their synergy a bit back is the fact Rappa is Imaginary and Lingsha Fire which means you would rather have the enemy be weak to both their elements to really destroy their toughness bar. This doesn’t matter for superbreak dmg. |
Lingsha can be used in 2 main ways depending on her team. You either build her for break when using her with someone like Firefly, or you build her as a general sustain when using her outside of break. There is a third way you can build her which is known as critsha (Crit Lingsha), but this is more an off-meta build so I’ll only go briefly over it.
Icon | Name | Explanation |
4-pc Iron cavalry against the scourge | Lingsha’s personal damage is pretty high in break teams since she attacks quite a lot with Fuyuan, and so also has really high toughness damage. This relic increases that damage even more. She also needs less spd because of Ruan Mei, and less healing because break teams don’t need that much healing which makes this set even more viable on her. |
Iron cavalry is actually her only option when going for break teams. You can also use the general builds I will discuss in a moment on her, but they will lead to lower damage and I generally don’t recommend them in break teams unless you don’t want to farm 2 relic sets for her and want to use her in more than just break. The only general relic set I would recommend for Lingsha in break is 4-pc Thief.
Icon | Name | Explanation |
2-pc speed + 2-pc speed | Considering spd is a pretty rare stat to get from substat, and it’s something you always want. Being able to get 12% spd from only set bonuses is just insane. The combination of these two will allow you to really easily get the amount of spd you want, and maybe even get even more be or attack since those subs are more common than spd subs. In general this set combination will make it really easy for you to get the amount of stats you want while still being 2-pc + 2-pc.
2-pc Speed + 2-pc Break effect | 2-pc spd will help you get closer to your desired spd target, and is just a general good set for any sustain since you want them to heal as much as possible. 2-pc break effect will help your Lingsha get closer to the 200 be target and improves her break damage a bit if the enemy is fire weak.
2-pc Speed + 2-pc Healing Bonus | 2-pc spd has the same explanation as above. 2-pc Healing Bonus is something I can recommend if you were to have really good pieces for it, or you already reach the 200% be without the extra be from 2-pc be.
2-pc speed + 2-pc Attack | 2-pc spd is again the same explanation as above (Yeah you really want to use 2-pc spd on her). 2-pc attack is here for the same reason as the 2-pc Healing Bonus. If you already reach 200% be and want a bit more healing, then you can use this set. It will provide less healing than the Healing Bonus one though so only use this if you have good subs on it.
4-pc Thief of Shooting Meteor | +32% be is quite a lot and you also get some energy on top of it whenever Lingsha breaks. Most of the time it won’t be enough to not use Err% rope, but it could in something like Pure fiction. It may be a bit harder to reach the desired amount of spd with this set, but you make up for it in be%.
4-pc Eagle of Twilight Line | 4-pc Eagle has always been an interesting set. The advance is always good to have on a sustain since it provides more actions just like more spd, but you have to spd tune differently because of it. Overall speaking this can be a good set for her, certainly for 0-cycle rotations where you need a bit of advance to allow for one more action.
4-pc Passerby of Wandering Cloud | If you were to struggle with sp in the beginning of battle, and you only just need 1 more sp to be able to do your rotations at the start of battle. Then this set is a really good option for you. It doesn’t do more than that, except for making sure LIngsha heals a bit more. Overall a decent option. |
Icon | Name | Explanation |
4-pc Genius of Brilliant Stars | Just like almost every other dps, this set is pretty good on her because of the def-shred and will be even better if the enemy is quantum weak. Because she is normally a sustain, she doesn’t really have a set that synergizes with her so this will always be a good option on her
4-pc The Wind-Soaring Valorous | Since Lingsha has a follow-up in the form of Fuyuan. This set can be pretty good on her. Her ultimate is also a pretty good part of her damage, so this set will increase that damage even more.
2-pc Follow-up attack + 2-pc Attack | If you have pretty good subs for both of these sets, then this is a set combination I would recommend on her. A large part of Lingsha’s damage is also from her FUA so the 2-pc FUA will really help that. The 2-pc Attack will also do the same, but to all her damage. |
There are more sets you can mix and match, like 2-pc fire damage or maybe even 2-pc Pioneer. But since Critsha is already something I wouldn’t recommend. I won’t go too deep into this, and I would just say that it most of the time depends on which set you have the best subs on. Try out different sets and see which works best for you.
Icon | Name | Explanation |
2-pc Forge of the Kalpagni Lantern | The 6% spd is always great to have on her since it brings you closer to your desired spd. Since you will almost always use Lingsha against Fire weak enemies. You are guaranteed to have the 40% be boost which boosts her damage and brings her closer to the desired 200% be.
2-pc Talia: Kingdom of Banditry | When using her in teams where the enemy doesn’t have fire weakness. This will be a great option. Your Lingsha should always be faster than 145 spd, so with that she gets 36% be. In some instances Kalpagni can still be better because it gives the 6% spd, but that is only if you just barely don’t reach a spd breakpoint |
As with the relics. You can also use the general planars on her in break teams, but I would recommend those even less than with the relics since most of them don’t give any good buffs for break teams.
Icon | Name | Explanation |
2-pc Broken Keel | Just like most other supports. She too can use Broken keel. When using her in a team with crit characters. This will be her best relic. The extra effect res is also helpful since you don’t want her to be debuffed.
2-pc Fleet of the Ageless | If you use her in a team without crit characters like in DOT as an example. Then this set becomes pretty good on her. The Hp% is nice to have, and she should always be faster than 120 spd so that requirement isn’t a problem either.
2-pc Sprightly Vonwacq | The err% is wasted on her (Look at Relic mainstats as to why), but the 40% advance can be really helpful and maybe allow for certain 0-cycle rotations. Certainly not a bad option if it allows for one more action.
2-pc Lushaka, the Sunkes Seas | The same applies here as to Vonwacq, the err is wasted on her. The atk% is certainly good to have though, and is almost always something you want to have on your dps. |
You can maybe also look at other Planar sets like Penacony, but those don’t really allow for that many buffs and are pretty situational so generally these are going to be ones you want to look for.
Icon | Name | Explanation |
2-pc Duran, Dynasty of Running Wolves | This set will generally be the best choice for Lingsha on a crit build since Lingsha can trigger the required amount of FUA pretty fast and even faster with another FUA character in the team.
2-pc The Wondrous BananAmusement Park | Since Lingsha has a summon she will be able to fully use this planar set and get 48% cd. One of the few sets which gives this type of boost without any restrictions or built-up. |
Just like with Relics, there are more options for her crit build like Sigonia, Space Sealing Station, Rutilant arena, Inert Salsotto, … But I won’t be going over every of these options since that would take too much time, and like with relics. Test out for yourself what works best and what stats you need most. Most of the time the one with the best subs will be the best one for her.
Relic | Main Stat |
Body | OHB% > Atk% |
Boots | Spd |
Sphere | Atk% |
Rope | Err% (or Be% if using post-op conversation) |
Body - Since Lingsha already gets a good amount of Atk% from other sources like her trace and from her Sphere. She much rather wants OHB% to make sure she heals as much as possible. The difference in healing is about 14% so make sure to only use Atk% if you have really good subs on it and know that you don’t need the extra healing.
Boots - You always want your sustain to be as fast as possible. Using spd boots is a must so make sure you use it on her even if the substats aren’t that good on it.
Sphere - Atk% is the only main stat on a sphere that she wants. It makes sure your Lingsha will heal even more and is just the best option for her.
Rope - Using Err% makes it so you get enough energy to allow for a 3-turn rotation so that she only has to use basic/skill or any combination of these two three times to get her ultimate. With post-op conversation you will get enough Err% from the light cone to make sure she can have 3-turn rotations. And so you rather want Be% to max out her trace.
As for the Critsha build just use the usual main stats that any dps uses. Cr%/cd%,spd/atk%,fire dmg%/atk%,Atk%/Err%. What is best will depend on the team and substats so try out for yourself what works best.
Spd (Look at Soft Stats for desired breakpoints) > Be% (until 200%) > Atk%
Stat | Desired amount | Explanation |
Speed | 160-150-143-133 | Most of the spd breakpoints are pretty common among sustain characters. The one breakpoint Lingsha has which most other sustains don’t have is 150. This is because this is the spd Lingsha has to be to not waste any action advance on Fuyuan when using Basic-Basic-Skill rotation. If you are faster than this then make sure to wait with your ult till after Fuyuan has acted since otherwise you will lose a Fuyuan action. Just make sure to make your Lingsha as fast as possible and you should be good. |
Break effect | 150-175% | I know I’ve been talking most of the time during this guide about reaching 200% be since that is the amount you need to max out her trace. Most of the time especially outside of break you won’t reach this amount though, so in those cases I would recommend somewhere around this amount. Even in break try to reach around this amount since you will be getting a lot be from buffs |
Attack | 2000-2400 | Since you will be using an Atk% orb this is most often the amount of Attack you will reach with a couple of extra Atk% subs. The more attack she has, the more she heals so try to get around this amount. |
Icon | Name | Explanation |
Scent Alone Stays True | As expected, her signature is the best Lc for her. This Lc gives 60% be which Lingsha enjoys a lot and applies a debuff called “Woefree” on ultimate which makes it so the enemy receives 10% more dmg with 8% additional extra dmg taken if the wearer has 150% be or more which Lingsha should always have. This debuff is great for every type of team and will always be helpful to have. The debuff is only for 2 turns so could have uptime issues outside of break or against really fast enemies.
Night of Fright | Lingsha will need a bit more Err% or get hit to guarantee 3 turn ult, but this Lc still is a decent option. It also makes it so she sustains even more and boosts teammates Atk too. Could be a good option to use on her if you want a bit more healing and buffing.
Echoes of the Coffin | The atk% will help Lingsha heal a bit more, and the energy the Lc gives also makes it so she doesn’t have to use Err% rope so with this Lc you can also go for Be% rope. Other than that the spd is also good to have especially if it helps you reach certain breakpoints.
Dream’s Montage | A Lc that gives both spd and allows for Lingsha to run be% rope? Yeah, this is easily her best 4-star option. Even at S1 it allows for enough energy to be able to have consistent 3-turn ults. The main thing with this Lc is that you have to make sure you break fast enough, or there is always an enemy on the field which is broken. This is of course only the case in break teams, so at S1 make sure you only use it in there since outside it won’t give consistent 3-turn ults. With S5 you can though.
Post-Op Conversation | If you have S5 of this Lc, then it will especially be good on Lingsha as a f2p option. With s5 you get enough Err% to allow for 3-turn ult which makes it so you can use a Be% rope on Lingsha. If you don’t have S5 then you have to get additional energy from other sources such as getting hit or planar sets.
What Is Real? | A good amount of be and also some self heal when using basic. You may have noticed with the relic main stats that Lingsha doesn’t use any defensive main stats so you could sometimes end up with Lingsha on low Hp. This Lc can provide that extra survivability for her and give a good amount of be% on top.
Quid Pro Quo | This is an Lc that almost every abundance character can use. It doesn’t help Lingsha in any way, but there can be some teams where the energy is really helpful. Most often in teams where Robin is used.
Shared Feeling | If you are using Lingsha in a team where she can skill spam. This LC becomes a great option because of the energy it gives to the whole team which can also allow Lingsha to have 3-turn ult with a bit more energy from getting hit as an example. Which makes it so she can use a Be% rope with this Lc which is always great since they are more common than Err% ropes. |
All of these Light cones can help Lingsha or the team in some way so look at which ones you have and which helps your team the most.
Icon | Name | Explanation |
Echoes of the Coffin | I know I have already talked about this Lc during the general build, but this is really the only Lc which benefits her when in a crit based build. She likes the Atk% and energy this Lc gives since it allows her to use Atk% rope and the extra spd is also good.
Scent Alone Stays True | The debuff from this Lc is something that will always be beneficial since it boosts all types of damage and will be able to increase her damage when in a crit based build. The extra Be% is also good for a bit more healing since you won’t have a lot of Be% from substats. |
All of the Abundance light cones are made to help your team or make sure the wearer heals even more. Because of that we don’t really have any crit based LC’s for her and so these two are really the only good options for her when you want to use a Crit based Lingsha build.
Talent >= Ultimate > Skill >>> Basic
Levelling both the talent and Ultimate are important for Lingsha. Her talent will be the one to do most of the healing so make sure that is levelled up. Her Ultimate also provides healing and also gives the “Befog” debuff which is pretty important for in break teams which take advantage of this debuff. Her skill also provides a good amount of healing, but a lot less than the rest so this is less important. Basic does almost nothing so there is no point in levelling it.
Before I start discussing if you rather want to go for eidolons or Lc. Let me show first the increase in damage with each eidolon. This is for a Firefly team with Firefly E0s1, Ruan Mei e0s5 MOTP, Hmc E6s5 MOTP, Lingsha E0s1. All the assumptions for these calcs are in the Calculation Assumptions section. Credits go to perucia_, on Reddit u/perucia_ and on discord @perucia_.
Eidolon | Notes | % compared to previous | % over E0s5 |
/ | E0s5 (Post-op Conversation) | 100% | 100% |
/ | E0s1. Her Light cone provides 18% vulnerability which increases the damage of everyone in the team. Those who already have vulnerability have less of an increase. | 113.53% | 113.53% |
50% break efficiency for Lingsha increases her Superbreak damage by 33.33% with Ruan Mei in the team, and the extra def shred is for the whole team which becomes 45% def shred for Firefly with Cavalry in total. | 122.29% | 138.84%
40% break effect really isn’t a lot when most characters in your team already have around 300% be with Firefly around 400% be when all the other buffs are added. | 105.87% | 146.99%
Just a standard Ultimate and Talent upgrade. On top of a bit more break vulnerability you also heal a bit more. | 101.16% | 148.69%
Provides some more healing, but no increase in damage. Nothing impactful. | 100.00% | 148.69%
Another standard Skill and Basic upgrade. This one provides less than E3. Only a bit more healing. | 100.05% | 148.76%
This one is pretty impactful. -20% Res for all enemies on field at all times is pretty big. The extra instances of Damage from Fuyuan also provide even more toughness damage, and increase Lingsha’s damage by a lot. | 134.81% | 200.55%
More Superimpositions on the Lc provide even more Be% for Lingsha and increase the debuff from 18% to 34%. | 111.62% | 223.86% |
As you can see the biggest increases of team damage are S1 and E1, with E1 giving a bigger increase than S1. Of course E6 gives the actual biggest increase, but that is to be expected with almost every character. What I do want to tell though is that these calcs are done with a superbreak team. Let’s now discuss break and general apart.
E1>S1
This is pretty simple to explain. Just look at the calcs above and you can see that E1 provides a bigger increase in damage than S1. The increase from E1 will be felt even more in actual practice because you will break faster with E1 which allows for even faster clears. Her S1 still is a big increase in break teams, but E1 is just a lot more valuable.
S1>E1
While E1 does a lot in break. Outside of break, and especially if the enemy isn't fire weak. E1 doesn’t really do a lot. More toughness damage from Lingsha doesn’t matter if the enemy isn’t fire weak and the enemy also isn’t broken long enough for the 20% def reduce to do a lot. S1 on the other hand will provide a 18% vulnerability debuff on the enemy for 2 turns. While this probably won’t have 100% uptime if the enemy is fast or you don’t break fast enough. It still has pretty good uptime and with no other sources of vulnerability is an 18% increase of all types of damage. E1 does still have use outside of break especially if the enemy is fire weak, but S1 just has a lot more use. E1 could especially be good in Apocalyptic Shadow if the enemy is fire weak since Lingsha will help break the enemy even faster.
For break E1, For general S1.
Which investment is best depends on where you want to use her so first think about what teams you want to use her in before deciding if you rather want E1 or S1. Anything past E1 also generally isn’t worth it unless you are going for E6.
Now that we have covered everything there is to tell about Lingsha. Let’s start with giving some examples of teams she will be good in and where you will most likely use her in.

Do I need Lingsha?
I always find it hard to answer this question, since it always depends on each account. What characters do you have?; What teams do you want to invest in?; Do you have 2 limited sustains already? Usually these are the questions I would ask before I can even begin to answer the question. Lingsha does her job as a sustainer more than well enough. If you don’t have 2 limited sustain characters then getting her will always be a great investment. Sustains are always less desirable when you already have 2 of them, so most of the time sustains have less value than other characters. Aside from sustaining, Lingsha will also do a good job at improving your break and FUA teams depending on who you have already. She has good synergy with a lot of characters, and can also be played as a Dps herself for things like PF.
Is Lingsha still an upgrade over E6 Gallagher for e0 ff?
Short answer, Yes.
Long answer, she still is an upgrade but you have to be more manageable with your SP and make sure you time everything a bit more. In long battles (5 or more cycles) you are going to notice that you have almost no SP left and will struggle with keeping everyone’s ult up or with using Skill on Firefly. Most of the time SP isn’t a problem though unless you have really long battles, in which case you have to be really careful. Something else to consider is the amount of cleanse and healing Lingsha does. Lingsha heals and cleanses quite a lot so in terms of comfort Lingsha will also be a great addition. Especially against fast enemies where Gallagher can struggle against and where he has to use more SP which can mess up rotations if you use Multiplication Gallagher. With Lingsha it doesn’t matter how fast the enemy is as long as she can use her skill from time to time.
How does Lingsha's skill affect Fuyuan and what spd breakpoints do you have with Fuyuan in regards to number of skills?
This is a pretty easy one to answer. Each time you use skill you advance Fuyuan by 20%. This means more skills means more advance. Most of the time using skill spam won’t give you more Fuyuan actions as compared with only 1 skill since 20% advance really isn’t a lot.
As I said earlier the Spd breakpoint with 1 skill is 150. If you are at or under this spd then Fuyuan will have acted 2 times before Lingsha has acted 3 times. That’s why you want to wait with ult until after Fuyuan has acted when you are over 150 spd to maximise the amount of Fuyuan actions. If you skill spam with her then the spd you have to be under is 169 (nice).
Is Lingsha only usable in break?
I think I have spent a good amount of time in this guide talking about her synergy with other characters which aren’t break ones, so you probably know the answer by now. Lingsha has far more options than break and even if she doesn’t buff the team that much, she still is a sustain which is always something you want to have. Even then her toughness reduction capabilities against fire-weak enemies even in non break teams are always great especially in PF and AS.
Is Lingsha Sp negative?
Generally, no. Her usual rotation is Basic/Basic/Skill which is +⅓ over a rotation. She is perfectly capable of only using 1 skill per rotation, but using more skills means more toughness damage and healing. It won't give her more Fuyuan actions most of the time, but still gives a bit more damage. If you have the extra Sp then use skill on her, but most of the time you rather want someone else to use the Sp. Using more skill also changes the spd you have to be under for more Fuyuan actions which means you spend less AV waiting for Fuyuan which can be worth it depending on your goal.
How does Lingsha compare to Aventurine? First of all, both of these characters are quite different in their kit and what they do so comparing the two of them is already going to be quite difficult. Lingsha has 2 main places where she shines. FUA and Break teams. Aventurine shines in FUA, and Acheron teams. In terms of FUA teams their performance will be similar. The number of attacks they have is constant with Lingsha, but can vary with Aventurine. Aventurine will have more attacks if the enemies attack a lot or deal a lot of aoe-attacks. Lingsha has more if the enemy has less of those or is just broken a lot. While Aventurine has a bit higher personal dmg than Lingsha. Lingsha makes up for it by having access to Quid Pro Quo which can make a big difference since it allows Robin to ult more and have better ult uptime. In actual combat they will be similar, and so for FUA teams either of them will be a good addition. Outside of FUA teams both also bring a lot to the table. Aventurine is mainly in Acheron teams because of Trend, and Lingsha in break teams because of her toughness damage and all the reasons we discussed in the rest of the guide. In teams in general both will be good general sustains and will be able to slot into every team. Both also have good personal dmg, and a debuff in their kit which increases dmg a bit so they have that similar to. In the end both have their uses and will be good additions to your account. Personally, I would say go for the one you like more.
First of all I would like to give my thanks to perucia_ (On reddit u/perucia_ and on discord @perucia_). He helped me a lot with making the calcs which a lot of the information in this guide is based around. He himself also provided a good amount of the calcs used here so here are the links to both his and my calcs.
Secondly I would like to thank the members of Lingsha Mains discord server for helping me come up with ideas incorporated all throughout the guide and coming up with questions in the FAQ. A lot of info from the Guide here also comes from talking with people there so if you go there you can always ask additional questions you have about Lingsha.
Other than that I also want to give a quick thanks to the Honkai Star rail wiki and to the website Hakush.in for providing a lot of the images used in the guide here and making it easy to look things up.
Thank you for reading the guide, and if you have any questions about Lingsha then you can always ask me on reddit or discord for extra info.
May your Lingsha pulls been blessed by Lingsha herself and good luck using her.
