Nance Elementary School families, Summer is wrapping up and we are spending our final summer days preparing for the amazing adventures we will experience in a few weeks! This newsletter is meant to share a few details for the coming weeks. A more detailed newsletter will come in early August once we have our students all registered and parent contacts in the system. Get Registered! | Have you registered your children for the upcoming school year? Do you have friends or neighbors who have students coming to Nance and need help registering? We are here to help! Reach out to our front office and we can get you started! All registration is online and can be found at the link below. The sooner we have all of our students registered, the sooner we can get your child on our class roster and get our campus emails sent directly to your inbox. |
Meet the Teacher | August 14th, 2023 5:00-6:30pm *Early Access for ‘23-’24 PTA members at 4:30pm Stop by and meet your teacher, drop off your school supplies and take a self guided tour around our campus. Take a minute to visit our PTA table and become a member. Snowie Snow Cones will be selling snow cones if you need a sweet treat before heading to Meet the Eagles! Everyone is welcome to come and go anytime from 5:00pm-6:30pm! Families who have joined PTA for the ‘23-’24 school year are invited for early access at 4:30pm! We hope to see you there! |
Teacher Announcements and Class Lists | Who is my child’s teacher? We will be announcing teachers Friday, August 11th. More details will be coming in our early August newsletter. |
Nance Community Decorating Day | We love when our hallways show our Nance spirit and are inviting for our students and families! This year we are inviting our families to once again jump in on the decorating fun! We will be holding a Community Decorating Event on August 4th from 4:00-8:00pm. We would love your help decorating our hallways! The one catch, this will be a child-free event. We want the decor to be a surprise for the students when they arrive at Meet the Teacher or the 1st Day of School so we are asking that if you do decide to join us, you not bring your children. This surprise will add to the magic that will greet them those days. So if you are looking for a fun Friday night date night, we’ve got you covered (LOL)! The staff has also created a decor wishlist if you feel compelled to donate any items to our cause. The comments on the list indicate what grade level or classroom the donation is for so you can be specific about the group you are donating to. We hope you will be available to join! |
