In this document, you will find details regarding the personal data that the Hashomer Hatzair Peula-Cloud App, Jacob König, located at Desider Friedmann Platz 1, 1010 Wien (“we”), collects. We'll also explain the purposes for which we collect this data and how we process it.

We obtain most of these data directly from users, for instance, when they send us an email or register for the app.

Registration Information: When you register for the app, we collect your name, age, location, email address, and password.

If we gather data independently, it typically comes from publicly accessible registers (such as telephone directories, commercial registers, land registers, trademark registers, or patent registers) or other public information sources, especially websites.

You are not obligated to provide us with the data we request. However, if you choose not to provide your personal data, it is not able to create and use an account in the app. If the provision of your personal data is required by law, we will inform you separately of this.

 

For what purposes do we process data?

We process your personal data for the following purposes within the scope of our app:

-       To provide and enhance the features, functionality, and services of the app,

-       To communicate with you regarding updates, promotions, and vital announcements,

-       To enforce our terms of service and ensure the security of the app,

-       To conduct research and analyze usage patterns to enhance user experience,

-       To meet our pre-contractual and contractual obligations as per Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR,

-       To safeguard the legitimate interests of you, us, or third parties in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

 

Transfer of your personal data

We refrain from any commercial disclosure of your data (sale, rental) to third parties. We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following circumstances:

We will only pass on data to third parties if it is necessary, if we are legally obliged to do so, or with your consent.

To achieve the purposes set out above, we will transfer your personal data to the following categories of recipients:

-       IT Service Providers that we use: Google Firebase

 

Retention period

Your personal data will only be kept for as long as it is necessary to achieve the purposes set out above. We will, in any case, retain your personal data for as long as (i) required under statutory retention obligations or (ii) potential legal claims, where personal data is needed to raise or defend against the claim, are not yet time barred.  

 

Your rights regarding with your personal data

Under applicable law, you have the right to (under the conditions set out in applicable law):

-       obtain confirmation as to whether and what kind of personal data we store about you and to request copies of such data,  

-       request rectification or erasure of your personal data,

-       request us to restrict the processing of your personal data,

-       object to the processing of your personal data,

-       withdraw any consent previously granted for the processing (withdrawing your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before your withdrawal),

-       request data portability, and

-       lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

 

Age limit for consent

The Austrian Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz, DSG) establishes an age limit of 14 years for the lawfulness of a child's consent. When it comes to declarations of consent related to offers of information society services (such as web stores, apps, etc.) directed at children, the processing of personal data of children under the age of 14 is lawful only if, and to the extent that, the data processing consent was provided by the child's guardians (typically parents), or with their approval.
