On behalf of the Asian Ambassador’s Wives’ Association of Geneva (AAWAG), we are pleased to inform you that the Asian Festival - “The Weddings of Asia” will be held at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) premises on June 7th, 2023 from 10 am to 5 pm. The Festival is being organized by AAWAG, in collaboration with WIPO.

AAWAG has been an integral part of Geneva’s Asian diplomatic community. Our platform aims to promote Asian culture through exhibitions, festivals and cultural shows and the funds generated through these events are directed towards humanitarian and social welfare activities.

This year’s Festival aims to promote Asia’s culture, cuisine and diversity in the weddings and customs to the Geneva community, affording the participants an opportunity to learn, experience and savour the flavours of Asia at the national and gourmet stalls. Apart from these stalls, the Festival will also be holding a Lucky Draw throughout the day.

The Festival is poised to be one of the major events in the social calendar of Geneva. The sale proceeds from the national and gourmet stalls, together with individual donations will go towards charities in Syria and Yemen.

On behalf of AAWAG, we cordially invite local Asian entrepreneurs and food vendors who wish to participate in our upcoming event. The Festival provides a useful opportunity to showcase and promote your product, brand or business to the larger diplomatic and Geneva community. As a supporter of small businesses and the local community, we believe that these entrepreneurs and vendors play a vital role in enhancing the diversity and vibrancy of our community.

We would gladly sponsor a space for these entrepreneurs and vendors to showcase their unique products and culinary delights, along with the Asian countries' stalls. The cost for an artisan table is 500 CHF, and the cost for a food vendor table is 700 CHF. We are offering space for 12 artisan tables and 6 food vendors. The participation confirmations will be on the first come first served bases.
