Help Refugees Donations Coordinator & NeedsList Representative - Northern Greece
The person within this role will work between two partnership organisations acting to provide aid to displaced persons in the Northern Greece area: Help Refugees and NeedsList. You will be equally accountable to both organisations, and as tasks for each will significantly overlap it follows to combine the work into one role. This role is based in the Help Refugees Warehouse in Thessaloniki, Greece.
NeedsList is a new online platform connecting the needs of refugee aid communities with donors and volunteers around the world, and is seeking a resident representative in Northern Greece. The main responsibility of this position will be to develop partnerships with suppliers in the Thessaloniki region as well as to liaise between NeedsList and local NGOs.
Help Refugees is a British NGO and currently the largest funder and facilitator of aid among refugee-related grassroots groups in Europe. It funds projects across Greece and also runs a central warehouse in Thessaloniki. The main responsibility tied to this position is to coordinate incoming aid from international sources before and upon its arrival at the warehouse, in order to provide much-needed consistent and appropriate aid to displaced people across Northern Greece.
Note: This position will be full-time for six months. You will be accountable to both organisations and will divide your time as agreed between the two.

This position is a six month, 40 hour a week role to be compensated at a rate of 500 euros a month to cover living expenses. Hours flexible, weekly meetings by Skype required. Occasional travel required.
